This property will be for rent full time starting 5/1/15. Great location, 2 short blocks to the beach yet secluded and quiet in the North redevelopment area. The home is a downstairs unit of a triplex in which all units are owned by me.
This one bedroom bungalow is perfect for a couple or a family with 2 small children. Everything you need to enjoy a vacation at the beach is included. Bikes, beach chairs, barbecue and more. Have breakfast out on your own private patio or enjoy an evening around the fire table with the other guests.
This unit is furnished with all new furniture, including queen bed, sofa bed, dining table, coffee tables etc. The kitchen is fully stocked. Everything new.
Three block walk to the pier or the downtown area for great restaurants or to catch the coaster to downtown San Diego and other local beach communities in between.
San Diego has lots to offer including LEGOLAND, Wild Animal Park, Del Mar Race Track, La Jolla Playhouse, Sea World, Old Town, Gas Lamp District, Petco Park, San Diego Zoo, and the Balboa Park Museums, casinos and wine country. Oceanside has the best and biggest sand beaches in the county.
I am a writer and I enjoy the active life, including cycling and tennis. I grew up at the beach and thoroughly love the lifestyle. I have four kids and all of them still live near and enjoy the ocean.

Glenn, the special man in my life, turned me on to all of the great things here in San Diego. I fell in love with this properties unique character, the fact that I own all 3 units and therefore I am not restricted by HOA's or other large complex rules and regulations. I can go the
extra mile to make you feel like it is your home away from home, because it will also be my home away from home. Also, there is great surf here in the summer.
Location! Location! Location! Only two blocks from the beach in North Oceanside where all of the surroundings homes are relatively new and the neighborhood is delightful.
Location, location, location. This is a triplex in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Very quiet. So nice to be in easy walking distance to the beach, pier, train connections, harbor/shops and the street fair/market. A bicycle trail is one block away that goes on for miles. There are bicycles available in the garage. The one bedroom was perfect with a garage and washer/dryer. I-5 is just a short distance away for trips up and down the coast on day trips. Four weeks just flew by, wished we could have stayed longe. Plan to spend time in the same unit next winter.
We stayed in Oceanside for a wedding, arriving with our own bikes even though some were available in the attached garage. We rode everywhere we needed to be including the wedding! Great access to the bike path, restaurants and the beach. The ceiling and floor fan were needed during the heat wave and we were very comfortable. Loved the sound of the fountain outside the bedroom door. We will likely return.
My family rented this bungalow for our family vacation and it was PERFECT for the 4 of us. The description was very accurate and it actually looks better than the pictures. Upgraded appliances, full size refrigerator, and all the kitchen gadgets you need to cook any meal. The bed was super comfortable. My kids slept fine on the sofa sleeper, which was easy to pull out and put away. The location couldn't be better, just far enough from the beach to avoid all the noise associated with people coming and going to the beach, very quiet peaceful; but still only about a 5 minute walk to the beach (if you walk slow).
This unit has an attached garage which made things even better, it really was our home away from home. The unit was clean and Tricia was more than helpful to help with anything we needed. We will definitely be back again, and I have already recommended this property to my friends!
We stayed at this property for our honeymoon. We had a great time, and loved the location. We thought the property was well represented and we would definitely stay here again! The owner was easy to get along with and very prompt with communication. A+!
I was pleasently surprised when I arrived, as the property looks exactly like the pictures posted. It was very clean and everything was there as discribed, except for a vcr (which I was disappointed as I took old/classical movies, vhs to watch and could not). It was very close to the beach which was very nice as well. The water fountain by the bedroom was a very soothing sound to help you sleep. All in all as I have spoken with the owner ( who is very nice and friendly as well as helpful ) I will return again next summer and stay here again.
For 10 days, this beautiful Oceanside condo was our home away from home. We thorougly enjoyed every aspect of our southern California vacation, including our accomodations.
Pictures and description provided in the VRBO listing were accurate and the property was very clean and well maintained. The luxury of having our own garage with entrance into the condo, a washer/dryer, free wi-fi and a fire pit perfect for toasting marshmellows was wonderful (especially with 2 children).
As this was our first visit to Southern California and flying into San Diego, the location was great. An easy 30 minute drive from the airport and perfect for day trips to Balboa Park, Old Town San Diego and up along the Northern coast to Long Beach, Santa Monica and LA.
Another bonus with the location was a 'hop, skip & a jump' to the beach 2 blocks away and a 5 minute walk to the famous Oceanside Pier and downtown restaurants & shops.
We would definitely stay here again if we're lucky enough to return to Oceanside. From our very first inquiry up to our final dealings, our host Tricia was; kind, available, helpful and always professional.

Hallo possible renters, this was a great stay and both myself and my German Girlfriend whom had never beet to th eUSA and is very picky loved teh place from the 1st step through the door. Having our own garage filled with bikes, a wagon for the beach and a complete washer & Dryer fully ready to go! Inside the condo it to was ready to go clean and fresh beding with a very clean inside. No bugs not loud at all, well only when the trains ran which was not often. All kitchen devices worked 101% and where well kept up. There where even dishwasher tabs already there thus saving a specuial trip to the store.
I liked teh style and teh location as well as we where not on th ebeach which saves from all of the daily and nightly traffic consistantly moving. Instead a short 1 block to the beachs pulling the wagon filled with the bogy boards or for those not in the groove specail boards for floating on the waves "Rally Coll" and very easy and fun to do. The beachs are very safe and very close. we even went for runs after our long day on the beach along the beach very cool.
We used the barbaque which was clean and easy to use and even utlaized the very nice spanish dinner table outside our unti cool. The bath room was very clean as well everything woked just perfect, there was even a really good hair dryer already there so you need not pack a hair drayer, The only reason I did not gie this a Excellent is not because it is not Excelllent but the coach in the kliving room needs to be replaced as it was a bit older. But Tricia the owner told me she has already prepaird a solution by ordering a new one. I had spoken often to Tricia and she is more then guest friendly I think we will stay in touch as she is a very beautifull person and understands what it is that we need as guest at her Condo. It was very easy to get access to the condo and the garage. The owner Tricia even came by from about 1,5 hour drive out of LA just to insure that everything was ok and we where doing fine, now that is nice. And it is easy to rent on line using aypal was so easy and if you have any problems Tricia is ther ein about an hour and a hlaf no qeustions asked she does comes full stop.
Well enough said we loved our 2 week stay and are already planing our return visit next year only we will take the bigger 2 bedroom cond instead as we will be bringing our favorit couple of friends with us.
