GREAT LOWER DISTRICT LOCATION!!

My husband and I recently traveled to New Orleans to adopt our newborn son. We needed somewhere safe and comfortable to stay in a convenient location, and this spot was perfect. When I first contacted Mike, he was extremely understanding of our unique situation, and he was willing to be flexible with us, which I really appreciated. Also, because he lives on property, he was available and helpful during our stay. For instance, we noticed our first night that the box spring was broken. We let him know the next morning, and within hours he had purchased a new box spring. He also let us borrow a screwdriver one night so we could put together a new baby contraption.

When we arrived at the apartment, I was very impressed with it. It is obviously brand new. It was spotless and in excellent condition with great fixtures and furnishings - a comfortable bed, nice-sized kitchen, tile shower, and hard wood floors. We stayed there ten nights, and it honestly felt like home, which I was so grateful for since we had a newborn with us.

Also, we did venture out on some walks, and there are some great places within walking distance. The Green Fork is across the street and has an excellent fresh juice bar. I also recommend Krewe Du Brew coffee house, which is just a few blocks away. The owner is fabulous, and the coffee is really good. The apartment is also conveniently located if you need to drive anywhere. It's just a few blocks from the 90 so we were able to easily get to the West Bank and Metarie, which we had to do several times during our visit.

I've stayed at VRBO locations in several cities, and I've never been disappointed. I was a little nervous about staying here because there weren't any reviews yet, but I'm SO glad I took the risk. I highly recommend it.
