We have been visiting Borrego Springs and Anza Borrego Desert State Park for +20 years and absolutely love it! This is the most beautiful place in southern California and a geological and natural wonderland! This house is truly BEST IN SHOW of all Borrego Rental Homes. Best views. Best location. Quietest. Best desert experience awaits you here!

This is the desert's best location for a true get-away, desert view retreat. Gated community consists of estate homes all on 10 acres or more. No telephone poles blocking views, noise from lawnmowers and blowers. This is considered the most beautiful and quietest community in the desert, yet close to town and surrounded by recreational opportunities just out the door.

The house is an architectural wonder. Simplistic and elegant at the same time. Natural. Zen. Clean. No clutter. Lots of windows. Forever views.

Not much to recommend here unless you like a beautiful, immaculate home in a picture-perfect desert setting with a private swimming pool and spa, and lots of privacy, peace and solitude. The pictures on the website really don't do the property justice, and if you enjoy the desert this is the place. Oh, and the owners were incredibly hospitable and accomodating. We'll be back for sure.

We stayed at this classic desert estate for 9 wonderful days. Casa Borrego is truly phenomenal. Pictures on the web don't do it justice!!! The location at the end of the road, next to the orange orchard grove- spectacular and so quiet. The furnishings were very comfortable, the lighting for reading- excellent, the kitchen fabulous to cook in!! We hiked everyday, right from the house into the state park. The nights were so peaceful and the skies and stars - so clear. We felt safe, comfortable and well taken care of at this oasis. The owners were very helpful in answering all of our questions. This is a very special place .

We stayed for about a week at this home and absolutely loved it. The house is gorgeous and was designed by a noted mid-century modern architect.We hiked in the mornings and came back in the afternoons to take a quick swim and then lounge around. Great places outside and inside to relax, read, look at the mountains, listen to birds. Native plantings surround the house, so birds are always there. At night it is incredibly quiet. Citrus groves are nearby and town is not far away. The owners really work hard to make your stay enjoyable. We have done many rentals before and have never been treated so well.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
