ASK FOR 'CREEKSIDE CABIN'. COMFORT & STYLE, SATELLITE & INTERNET

Cascade Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Creekside Cabin is a special place, warm with charm and loaded with comfort. Here you'll find two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen sized bed. Sleep two more on the futon sleeper in the living room. The cabin has just recently been totally remodeled and decorated. There's one bathroom with a nice step in shower. The kitchen is a pleasure, with brand new appliances and a wonderful supply of cooking utensils.

These owners want the best for their guests, so they didn't scrimp on the satellite programming, and they know the modern traveler needs to stay in touch with the world they leave behind, so they added internet too.

Creekside is a welcome home after a fun day of recreation in Valley County, so here you may kick back and relax while you barbeque on the deck or listen to the peaceful sounds of water tumbling along the creek beside the cabin. And don't forget the relaxation of a fireside visit.

It's only minutes to Campbell Creek Day Use Boat Launch, and here you may enjoy peaceful walks in the surrounding area.

Anderson Creek Trailhead is right up the road. Bring your snowmobiles or ATVs and take advantage to some of Idaho's finest and most scenic trails. Very easy access!

There's so much more to do in the area too. In nearby Donnelly, ride a horse drawn sleigh out to the meadow and take part in feeding the wild elf herd. New to Cascade is Kelly's White Water Park, with a great visitor center. Enjoy hours of rafting and kayaking fun on the beautiful Payetter River. If you want to walk along the river, The Strand is a stretch of trail running from the north to the south ends of Cascade. It's so peaceful. At the end of the day, there's nothing like relaxing in the hot springs. Here we have several remote and rustic settings where the water is hot and the air is fresh, or you may want to visit Gold Fork Hot Springs with three pools and great atmosphere. Visit hidden mountain lakes, view wildlife, pick berries. There's many nice day trips you may enjoy, and lots of events throughout the year to keep you entertained.

Visit the web site for updated information on these.

Creekside Cabin and this beautiful area offer so much, you'll have to come often to take advantage of it all.

A NICE GETAWAY FOR MOM AND DAD!

  • 5 of 5
This is a cute little cabin. Overall we found the cabin in good shape and well taken care of.

The cabin sits very close to several other cabins, but it is far enough away to still seem private. One cabin is a little close, but we just closed the blinds on that side. The stream is amazing. The sound is wonderful. They have a picnic table and fire pit next to the stream. The cabin has an amazing front porch. It is well stocked with a wood box and the owners have put a gas grill, patio table and lots of chairs so that you can enjoy the porch even more. I was slightly envious of the neighbors fire pit on the porch. That would have been fun to use in the rain!

The inside of the cabin is small. But the owners have taken the time to decorate in a way that is nice and functional. They have gone with the log cabin theme down to the futon. Which was surprisingly comfortable despite being a futon! It was great for a catnap, but I still don’t know that I would want to sleep all night on it. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. No dishwasher which was fine for us. The bathroom is tiny, but had everything needed. The shower was great for me (5’6”) but if you are tall I could see the showerhead height being a problem. The towels were soft. The beds seem relatively new and in great shape. The linens were a nice quality and warm. The rooms don’t have closets, and are a little tight once you add luggage. But they have hooks on the walls in each room and a luggage rack.

We enjoyed walking down to the dock. It took us about 15 minutes to walk all the way down to the dock from the cabin. There were beautiful blue flowers all over. There were lots of places to walk near the cabin.

The wireless wasn’t’ working when we got there and it didn’t get fixed while we were there. A mix up with the username and password. It was listed incorrectly in the rental info binder, and I’m sure will be up and running for the next group.

Speaking of the binder, it was informative, but it needs a copy of the rental policies. When it came to leave we had to look up the website (on our smartphone) and figure out how to check out.

The rental company owner was great. She was very easy to work with and very responsive to phone calls.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin!

FAMILY GET AWAY

Love the cabin! It was perfect for our family of two little boys. Very comfortable. We could watch movies as a family, stay connected with the internet access, and there is so much to do close by. We will be back!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review. It's always fun for us to have good people use the Creekside Cabin, and be able to know they had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cabin. It is just the right size for a small family to be very comfortable, with as many amenities as we can provide. Many guests enjoy the satellite TV and having the internet available for their work and play, especially if the weather doesn't permit outdoor fun during part of their stay. Yes, there are so many things to see and do in the beautiful surrounding area, and being so close to the lake, and just down the road from Anderson Creek Trailhead, makes it esspecially easy to get out on your boat or up the trail on your ATV or snowmobile. I hope you had a chance to get out on the frozen lake for some fishing, or ice skating on our groomed ice skating rink. That's really popular with the kids again this year. Thanks again for staying in the Creekside Cabin, and we're glad you're already planning to visit again.

Map

This is one of the most beautiful vacation spots you can find in the north west. The Cascade area, and Cascade Lake offer the kind of peacefulness and tranquility that is getting harder to find in the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. At Creekside Cabin you may sit back and relax on the deck, or near a camp fire, next to the babbling creek. The cabin is located at the base of West Mountain, on the west side of the lake, across the lake from town. It's only a short, 10 minute walk to the lake, and the Campbell Creek Day Use Boat Launch is about a 5 minute drive. Also very nearby is Anderson Creek Trailhead. For those snowmobile and ATV enthusiasts, this is the perfect spot for easy and close access to the trails. Here You'll find some of the best trails in Idaho, and the scenery is spectacular.
