Accomodations: Oceanfront getaway on Monterey Bay commanding spectacular views of colorful dunes and ocean. Private walkways to miles of secluded beach make for superb beachcombing and bird watching. Twenty minutes north of Monterey, near Moss Landing, kayaking, fishing, wildlife tours, antiquing, great restaurants are close by.

This 3 bedroom 2 bath condo (sleeps six) is located in the secluded gated community of Monterey Dunes Colony. An abundance of glass offer spectacular beach views from the dining room, living room and master bedroom. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and widescreen TV. Enjoy the sunset from the private deck off the living room and master bedroom, or lunch on the enclosed patio. The available clubhouse area offers a hot tub, saunas, tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, bocce ball, and a heated swimming pool (Easter - October).

If you wish to explore, we are located within 25 miles of Carmel by the Sea, 17 Mile Drive, Monterey’s Cannery Row and Monterey Bay Aquarium. The area includes world class golf courses such as Pebble Beach, and art galleries, wine tasting, and gourmet dining.

About Terri and Randy Giovanetti

This property has been enjoyed by our family since it was constructed. Terri's parents, Max and Jeanne, purchased the property in 1978 and it has been lovingly maintained and decorated with Jeanne's artwork.

Very Nice Beach house

We had a perfect stay. The house is well equipped, and in excellent condition. The location is on a secluded picturesque beach. Perfect for a getaway. The owner was easy to contact, and very accommodating.

Wonderful, relaxing home right on the beach at Monterey!

My wife and our two daughters spent Easter Weekend at this great beachfront home in Monterey. It was the perfect, relaxing weekend we were hoping for. All the amenities were there, and my daughters loved just being a few steps from the beach. I don't think we heard or saw anybody else while we were there, so if you're looking for a quiet place to avoid the Canner Row madness, definately consider this home. I only dock them one star, because my wife complained that the mattresses were a too firm. The other couple staying with us mentioned the same thing. But, it might just be a personal preference thing, as I slept like a log listening to the Pacific Ocean waves crashing right outside our window. We'd stay here again.

Great Getaway!

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. The only noise was the sound of the waves pounding on the nearby beach. Lovely and relaxing, but close to adventure. We chose a whale watching trip from Monterey since the Monarch butterflies we had come to see had already" flown the coop"...a great trade off. The condo is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The original art work (done mostly by the owner) adds to the simple, tasteful décor. Owner Randy is responsive and easy to work with. You'll enjoy your stay.

Heaven on earth

Simply amazing house. Less than 100 yds from the sea. Shell collecting , long walks on the private beach and a cozy fire with hot cocoa. Yup thats heave alright. My three year old son loved it so much we want to go again in a couple months. The owner is a true gentleman. Excellent communication and follow up.
