Spacious, bright and updated townhome in the East Side Santa Cruz Seabright neighborhood. Residence is located on a quiet street, walking distance to Seabright Avenue, home to fabulous restaurants and coffee shops. Between Yacht Harbor and the Beach Boardwalk, and 3 blocks to Seabright Beach; the largest beach Santa Cruz has to offer! Three levels provide a spacious amount of living area, very conducive for families. Bathrooms for the Master (full bath) and 2nd Bedroom (full bath) have been updated. The washer/dryer are on the lower level. The main level includes a separate living room, dining room, gallery kitchen and 1/2 bathroom. Numerous sunlit areas, including large deck, encourage early morning coffee and talk and afternoon gathering to share stories after a day of sun, sand or shopping. Granite countertops along with bar and stools. Microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster, timed coffee maker and iPod docking station and all necessary cookware are available for dining in home. The dining room table seats 4 and will expand to seat up to 7. The living room with wood burning fireplace and LCD TV/DVD player, is a place to relax and entertain. There is a 3rd large loft bedroom on the upper level with entrance by circular staircase. Loft room has twin and double bunk beds and large space for TV watching and Wii playing. Perfect space for the kids! 2 Beach Cruiser bikes available for use. There are two decks, one adjacent to the master bedroom and the second large deck outside the living room. A Weber BBQ and patio furniture is available on the main deck for outdoor grilling and enjoyment. 3 Bedrooms + Convertible Sofa Bed + Aero Bed, 2.5 Baths.

Nice place and conveniently located.

Cute 3 story condo near Seabright beach and the boardwalk. Very well stocked kitchen and plenty of linens too. The upper loft did get very hot and stuffy - there is one fan for use in the condo - but bring an extra one to help keep it cool for those kiddos that sleep upstairs. The Wii is a nice bonus. The middle floor is spacious and the deck seating was great. The bottom floor - where both the bedrooms are located - is nicely decorated in the beach theme. In contrast to the loft area - the lower level was damp and cool. The bedding at night felt slightly damp both nights we were there. If you are sensitive to mold or mildew - sleep on one of the other two levels. It was nice to have two parking spaces off the street. And we enjoyed walking to the brewery and coffee shops. It is also a very quiet neighborhood at night.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the nice response. We do our best to make sure 122 Mountain View is comfortable for our guests. We appreciate all the positive comments on amenities, decorating and location. You picked a gorgeous weekend with unusually higher than normal temperatures for Santa Cruz. The loft does get warm when temps jump and the fan is there for that purpose. I will add another for our guests comfort. The 2 downstairs bedrooms should not be damp, cold or do not have mold or mildew. I was at the house prior to your arrival on 8/1. Every room has brand new electric wall heaters and if turned to low should alleviate any cold or dampness in downstairs bedrooms or other parts of the house. We hope you stay again. Best!

Incredible find!

When I planned our trip from the East Coast to Santa Cruz, I kept my fingers crossed that my VRBO choice would be acceptable. What we all found was an incredible home, kept impeccably clean, at a location to die for, as well as affordable. Just a short hop to great restaurants, the beach and the boardwalk. You cannot go wrong if you choose this property. We will be back!

After years of staying at Sea & Sand we decided to stay here. We were very happy with our decision!
For around the same price you get so much more!
Instead of a cramped one room with two queen beds you get three rooms, 2 1/2 GORGEOUS bathrooms, a kitchen fully stocked (cutlery,bowls,pans,seasonings,oils,ect) and two dedicated parking spaces. The kitchen allows you to stock up on meals & snacks. It also allows you to save leftovers from restaurants or other meals(saving money and allowing for healthier choices).
The townhouse is a very convenient walk to the Boardwalk (10 min) or Seabright Beach. At various times you can walk from Seabright Beach to the beach at the Boardwalk with your feet never leaving the sand!
The owner is superb. She is knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with.
Overall, a fantastic week in a cool beach town!!!
The street is very quiet in an excellent beach neighborhood.

Had a excellent time at your condo. My wife and I plus 2 teenagers. All we had to do was buy a few groceries and we were set. Location is close to the beach and the Boardwalk. You can walk to both easily. The 2 bikes are a big plus. (if you don't mind pink bikes =). We all had plenty of room and it beats hotel hands down. Quiet neighborhood.

Favorite parts for us in Santa Cruz was the Boardwalk. Ride some rides then literally walk right out to the beach. Tons of volleyball courts also.

On our CA trip we went to Yosemite, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco. Enjoyed Santa Cruz the best.

We were in Santa Cruz for a wedding. Based on the other properties that were rented by other family members we thought we had the best value. The property was clean, well maintained and worked out well for 5 adults and a toddler. The only drawback was the property was advertised as 3 bedrooms. I would think that 2 bedrooms and a loft would be more appropriate. Or ID as 3 sleeping areas. We would recommend to others.
