Photos and Description of the Kalkan - Kas area vacation villa rental Large Villa 4 bedrooms within easy walking distance of all amenities.

Villa Dena is located overlooking the beautiful village of Kalkan with views out to the Mediterranean sea, the Villa is spread over three floors, with large open plan kitchen / lounge area & washroom with toilet to the ground floor. The first floor consists of two identical on-suite double bedrooms & sea view balcony set out with table & chairs, while the second floor consists of two twin rooms, although the second twin room has a very low ceiling which we describe as been suitable for children (the beds in this room are movable z-beds). The second floor also boasts a large Balcony again equipped with a settee, table & two chairs, again with amazing views over Kalkan bay. To the outside we have a good sized pool, large patio area surrounded by gardens with shrubs & fruit trees. We like to think Villa Dena is one of the more private Villas in Kalkan, so you can relax on one of the six sun loungers, or enjoy an outside meal on our wrought iron/marble dining table. Please enjoy!

Villa Dena is located in the beautiful former fishing village of Kalkan on Turkeys Torquise coast. Kalkan is ideally located for those of you who wish to visit the many historical sites all within easy access either by local transport or hire car. Villa Dena is within easy walking distance of the villages many shops & restaurants, all located down lovely side streets winding down to the picturesque harbour & pebble beach. For those of you wishing to enjoy a more energetic holiday, there are several Beach Clubs all very close by, Kas 28 Km away offers diving, Para gliding is available or why not go White Water rafting at nearby Saklikent Gorge. If you are looking for a nice Sandy beach, which the Turks describe as the best beach in the World! Patara beach & Ampitheatre is for you & only 14 Km away, Horse riding is also available from Patara. The sunken city Kekova is one hours drive away, all places are readily reachable either by local tours, local Dolbuses or very reasonable car hire!

Additional information about rental rates

  • Included in Villa Dena prices, weekly maid service, (cleaning the Villa top to bottom & linen change). Local Villa maintenance company, British rep, telephone number provided for any problems or emergencies, advice on local areas. Pool cleaned daily, chemicals added nightly, patio area cleaned as required. Linen & towels are provided, beach towels are not so please bring your own!
  • Should you wish to rent Villa Dena a deposit of £150 per week is required to confirm the booking, at this point a booking form will be mailed to you, where your details can be forwarded to us. The remaining balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure, at this point we require an aditional £100 returnable for a breakage deposit, this will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your return home, subject to no substantial damage at the Villa. (should you break glasses, cups, plates etc, please just replace them)
  • Transfer to & from the Airport is NOT included in the Villa price. Dalaman airport is approx 1.5 to 2 hours transfer time away, although you will find the journey well worth it when you arrive in Kalkan! We can arrange an airport transfer for you in a modern air conditioned minibus, seating up to 8 people for an additional £120 (2009 price) which is payable direct to our British maintenance supervisor during your holiday. Alternatley we can supply you with details of a very local car hire firm, who will meet you at the airport, drive you to the Villa, then should you keep the car for the duration of the holiday they will drive you back to the Airport, all at very competitive prices. Which ever option you choose Gareth our maintenance supervisor will be at the Villa day or night to welcome you & offer advise. We can also offer a welcome pack containing essentials if you arrive in the middle of the night, this is at a non profit making cost of £20 payable to Gareth.

  • Villa Dena offers two en-suites shower rooms, both contain a washbasin,mirror, toilet & very spacious shower area all tiled top to bottom. In addition to the two shower rooms the ground floor contains a washbasin with mirror & toilet, again tiled top to bottom. Hot water is supplied by Solar energy to ensure a constant supply. Maid service is included in the price & the Villa will be cleaned top to bottom by our local maintenance company at least once a week, at this time bed linen & towels will also be changed.

  • Villa Dena has 2 identical en-suite bedrooms located on the first floor, both are spacious & contain a dressing table, stool & mirror, each room has a good double sized wrought iron bed, surrounded by 2 bedside units & 2 reading lamps. Both the first floor en-suite bedrooms have patio doors opening on to individual small balconies, both have individual locally controlled Air Conditioning units . Access to the bedrooms is via a marble spiral staircase. The second floor hosts bedrooms 3 + 4. Bedroom 3 contains two single beds, bedside unit, reading light & a wardrobe as well as individual locally controlled Air Conditioning unit. Bedroom 4 contains 2 single z beds which can be moved into the en-suites for smaller children if required. We advertise Bedroom 4 as suitable for children as the ceiling is quite low, again the room is equipped with an individual Air Conditioning unit controlled locally. Both second floor bedrooms offer easy access to the Balcony with Parasol, table & chairs!

Notes: Access to Villa Dena is via marble steps & as Kalkan is built into the hillside the property is unsuitable for elderly or infirm. The Pool is maintained & cleaned daily with pool chemicals added nightly & the patio cleaned regularly. 6 sunbeds surround the good sized 28sq/m pool. A wrought iron marble topped table with 6 chairs is available for outside dining, as well as a portable barbeque & two directors chairs & small table located in the shade under the balcony.
