About Chris Olberding
We moved to this home because it was so special....as soon as you walk down the driveway, you will understand what I mean. We were on a mission to simplify life when we bumped into this spot. We had no intention of moving but this house called us to it. We moved into this cute cottage and left behind a large house in the Portland area. We had always wanted to live on the water in the Puget Sound and were never interested in a home that anyone could duplicate today....we wanted something special....a home with character and charm. We found it!
Chris Olberding purchased this cottage in 2007
Why Chris Olberding chose Freeland
We loved the idea of this home, it's beautiful yard, gorgeous scenery and setting and we have called this home since we purchased it. Because of our love of the area, we are turning more of our time to boating..... But this will always be the home that our kids and grandkids come to visit us, to see the other side of life..... the simple side, where we find time for strolling on the beaches, for watching the deer and the eagles, for simply being together. This will always be home and a place that will forever be in our hearts.
What makes this cottage unique
Waterfront with very easy access to the beach. When we are here, we start most every summer day in the kayaks. What a life and what a special spot!
