For a more personal and detailed description please ask us. Indian Summer is a beautiful villa on a small development well built with terracotta tiled roof and a gloriously warm swimming pool. Everyone is very friendly and there are masses of restaurants nearby. Our home is very well planned with large rooms and everything you could want. We even have SKY TV for those moments when you need a break from all the tranquility!

Additional information about rental rates

  • This is a lovely property with some really beautiful antique Indian rosewood furniture. We therefore take a deposit of £300 in cash on arrival and it is returned to you on departure less any breakages or excess cleaning. If this is your first visit to this area please let us arrange a taxi to collect you from the airport. The first moment you step from the airport is always disconcerting - we can arrange to have someone meet you - who knows how to get to our development and will take you safely. It is not expensive and ensures a worry free start to a holiday.
  • The holiday rental rate includes a clean when you are there and a change of linen and towels - and of course when you leave. If you would like to have extra cleaning or linen change then this can easily be arranged locally with our property manager. It is very inexpensive and means no clearing up, but sometimes it's nicer not to be disturbed at all.
  • This is a very happy home and we hope you enjoy your holiday. This is India and somewhere very different. The people are very kind and gentle. Not everyone will speak English but there is always someone nearby who does. All the restaurants speak English; as of course do our property managers and most taxi drivers.

  • PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO BATH - The bathrooms are fully tiled with glass shower screens, washbasin and toilet. There is electric hot water and all the facilities you would expect of a western shower room are in these rooms.

  • The bedrooms are large and each bed consists of two three foot mattresses on a six foot base. The mattresses are deep and firm with soft toppers. There are wardrobes but you will only want the lightest of clothes. There are sheets and a blanket or quilt on each bed. The windows are all covered in fine mosquito netting and have blackout blinds. The doors to the terraces all also have blackout vertical blinds. There is air-conditioning but the breezes flow through the house and the sounds of the night are wonderful. and part of the whole experience.

Notes: This is a small development where people are friendly. The pool is always warm and the gardens are pretty. There is sunbathing on personal terraces only - not around the pool. There is a huge beach only 10 minutes walk away and taxis are available cheaply and easily from the Villa if you want to go further afield. There are masses of beach 'shacks' where excellent fresh food is sold on every beach on the Arabian sea area of Goa. This is an exceptional area and for lots more about the area please consult us.
