The villas are newly built (2009) in a traditional style and combine bright earthly colours with natural stone handcrafted by local craftsmen. They are equipped to a high standard with all contemporary amenities, offering a comfortable setting for visitors. The exterior areas are formed with respect to nature and the environment and include a swimming pool, barbeque and a sun terrace with a pergola on the pool level, plus a smaller pergola on the middle level balcony. Each villa (approx.94 m2) is ideal for 4-6 people, arranged on three floors. The main entrance on the first floor leads to a comfortable living room with a fireplace while adjoined there is a tastefully furnished dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. Both rooms share a large balcony that offers an unobstructed view of the Cretan landscape. All villas are equipped with manually controlled A/C, Solar boilers, satellite TV, Wi-Fi internet access, home cinema, telephone and electronic safe.

Elounda Solfez Villas are located in elounda, in Eastern Crete, Greece. Arranged on a hill, as on a music pentagram, the elounda Solfez Villas offer breathtaking views over the Mirabello Bay and the Aegean Sea. The villas are newly built (2009) in a traditional style and combine bright earthly colours with natural stone (the local stone of Elounda, Crete, collected during the building excavations), handcrafted by local craftsmen. They are equipped to a high standard with all contemporary amenities, offering a comfortable setting for visitors. The exterior areas are formed with respect to nature and the environment and include swimming pool, barbeque and a sun terrace with a pergola on the pool level, plus a smaller pergola on the middle level balcony.

Elounda is a slow paced, picturesque, fishing village, blending ancient memories with contemporary living and mouth watering Cretan gastronomy with crystal clear secluded beaches and warm hearted local people. Its small harbour with its traditionally painted boats is surrounded by shops, taverns and cafes where you can sit and gaze a slow paced world, going by. You will experience that carnal time does not apply here! Closest sandy beach to your villa is in Elounda, only 2km away, a pleasant five minutes drive with your car. It has the “Blue Flag” award from the European Union for its clear waters and very safe for children to swim in.

  • Rates are per villa for a six (6) nights' stay and include all taxes. Do check for any available special offers at the time of your booking.

    Payment Policy.

    For the periods of March 15th to April 30th & October 1st to October 31st:

    30% of the total stay will be charged on your credit card upon confirmation of the booking. Remaining amount can be paid by wire transfer or charged on your credit card 14 days prior to arrival.

    For the periods of May 1st to July 15th & September 1st to September 30th:

    30% of the total stay will be charged on your credit card upon confirmation of the booking. Remaining amount can be paid by wire transfer or charged on your credit card 21 days prior to arrival.

    For the period of July 16th to August 31st:

    50% of the total stay will be charged on your credit card upon confirmation of the booking. Remaining amount can be paid by wire transfer or charged on your credit card 28 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy.

    For the periods of March 15th to April 30th & October 1st to October 31st:

    For cancellations 20 days prior to arrival the 30% of the stay will be retained. For cancellations 14 days or less prior to arrival the full amount will be retained (maximum 6 nights)

    For the periods of May 1st to July 15th & September 1st to September 30th:

    For cancellations 21 days or less, prior to arrival the 30% of the stay will be retained. For cancellations 14 days or less prior to arrival the full amount will be retained (maximum 6 nights)

    For the period of July 16th to August 31st:

    For cancellations 28 days or less, prior to arrival the 50% of the stay will be retained. For cancellations 21 days or less prior to arrival the full amount will be retained (maximum 6 nights)
  • No Show: In case of no-show, the whole amount will be retained (6 nights maximum)

    Damage caused to the property and/or its contents The Client must accept full responsibility for damage and breakages to the property and goods. All such damages and breakages will be charged for at replacement value and must be paid for prior to departure. Damages' payment can be done in cash or be retained from your credit card. Copy of the damages' replacement invoice can and will be provided for control.

Driving Instructions: Driving instructions and Map In the case that you rent a car from the airport, you will need the following driving instructions in order to reach elounda Solfez Villas: At the airport exit, you will turn right, following the E75 national road to Aghios Nikolaos. After approximately 50 to 60 minutes drive, you will reach the traffic lights junction, at the entrance of Aghios Nikolaos Town. There you will turn to the left following the signs to “Elounda”. After almost 10 min. drive (9km) you will see various hotel signs, including elounda Solfez’s, leading you to a right turn. Take the down slope and turn again right at the end of it. After that turn, there will be enough signs to lead you to elounda Solfez Villas.
