Why stay at a hotel when you can be at home?
Beautiful, historic neighborhood. Safe, secure oasis in the city.
We rented the house for a long weekend for my brothers bachelor weekend. The house had 8 beds in 5 or so bedrooms, at least 5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 common rooms. The common room downstairs had a nice couch, 2 recliners and a big flat screen TV. The house was perfect for us. Location wise it's a nice quiet area just off a golf course. It's about a 5-10 minute ride to the airport and a 10-15 minute ride to the downtown area and to bardstown road area. We used uber and lyft to get around town and it was very inexpensive to get to where we needed to go. If I was in the area with a medium to big group I would definitely rent this house again.
From the time we drove up until the time we had to pack up and leave, Buzzy and Susan were the ultimate hosts for our bucket list Kentucky Derby weekend. We had a group of 8 that took full advantage of Buzzy's hospitality by sending derby hats early, getting his friend Scott to arrange all our meals (and they were outstanding) and accommodating our every whim. The house itself is incredible with new updates and conveniences, but the greatest part of our weekend turned out to be the owners themselves. Overly generous doesn't quiet get there. But we all highly recommend this VRBO rental to one and all. You won't be disappointed.
This property is located right in the middle of the most beautiful kept secret in Louisville. Sitting on a corner lot in the original Audubon Park neighborhood. As my wife and 6 of our employees arrived on Sun. the 27th of Oct., she called as they were pulling and I could hear the "OMG's this place is AMAZING". Knowing that I made the right choice. I arrived late that night with a 40' trailer and was able to park it across the street at the Country Club. The next morning, I was also in "AW" of how amazing this home is. The owner went above and beyond in his hospitality. My crew felt as like they were home. We took up both the upstairs and bottom floors and was very comfortable. The owner has done amazing with all the improvements over the years and we can't wait to see what he does this next year. Yes, I already put my deposit down for next year. You will love hearing the story about the history that lies within the walls of this 1910 home. Traveling on the road so much we get tired of eating out, so Buzzy recommended "Scotts Village Market". My wife called Scott and made arrangements to have a couple of meals brought in for us as we finished up the day at the Convention. Scott and his chef Travis prepared the most amazing dinners. They delivered it just in time to put it in the oven on warm and ready to go. When we all got back to the house, we all could sit outside have a drink reflect on the day, laugh and relax without worrying about any wait time at the restaurants it was ready to go. I definitely recommend them to anyone that is going to be staying. You may find them on Facebook. Please, take my advice and book this for your next stay in Louisville. Also, if you are a walker, you will love to walk around this neighborhood.
Thank You Buzzy see you next year.

The house is located in a safe and beautiful neighborhood, and was perfect for our group of young people. The owner of this beautiful home welcomed us as family and went above and beyond what was expected. The layout was perfect for our group with enough rooms and beds to accommodate every person that stayed. The style inside is modern and inviting. The owner remodeled a lot of the home himself, and we enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchens and hanging out in the common areas. We would recommend this house to anyone who needs a home away from home or a great place for vacation in Louisville. We hope for an opportunity to come back!
Our family of eight adults stayed in this beautiful home during our visit to Louisville. The location was perfect, the house spotless, and truly felt like our home-away-from-home.
Buzzy went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!
What an extraordinary residence and a complete gem to behold. Buzzy and his lovely wife were gracious hosts and always a pleasure to see when they stopped by to ensure everything was going well. Its location was great and close to the Expo Center and in a secure neighborhood. The house was more then we could have imagined. Plenty of room for 10+ big men in for the US National volleyball tournament. We used the deck out back for BBQ and enjoying the great weather. Plenty of room and hot water for long showers after playing ball all day. The place was stocked with condiments from previous visitors so we just got the essentials and went from there. Top shelf is all I can say.
