Downtown Orlando Lake Eola Thornton Park Historic district is the absolutely best spot for 'Old' Orlando. Quaint brick streets, parks, lakes, interesting people, etc.

You will fall in love with the lake view and the interesting wildlife you hear all day from the lake. You will be surprised to find yourself in such a peaceful spot but steps from anything you could possibly think of doing.

This place was perfect. It is as quaint and beautiful as the photos show. The owner is helpful and quick to respond to questions. The home was so nicely cleaned and fresh when we arrived and made relaxing right away easy. The Thorton Park area that this home is in is really neat. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance (including Starbucks) and a lake across the street. I know many people come to Orlando to get out and go to Disney and other attractions but on days when you don't feel like driving and fighting crowds staying around the house and enjoying the neighborhood will still be one of your favorite vacation days.

Four of us young adults stayed at this house for a week to escape the cold weather and loved it! The location is in a friendly historic neighborhood and is walking distance to Thornton Park, Lake Eola and even Downtown Orlando, which was perfect. The house and yard was very charming and we felt right at home in it. We would love to stay here again!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Dottie was very helpful and prompt with any issues that came up and the location of the house is top notch. A quiet neighborhood across from a small lake but within walking distance of dining, parks, and entertainment. We spent 2 of our 4 days at Disney and this was a great place to wind down at night. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed here for a week with my family while visiting my parents. It's a cozy little house in easy walking of several parks and most of downtown Orlando. It's also well located for driving most anywhere, without being right on a highway. Highly recommended, and definitely on my short list for my next visit to Orlando.

Beautiful quaint place with a great yard and view in a stellar location. i had some family in from the northeast and they couldn't be happier. the rates are affordable and the land lord is accommodating. it is the best way to visit orlando. the neighborhod is away from all the hustle of disney area yet close enough that it is not a nuisance to get to. there is an amazing bar and restaurant scene with in a few blocks walking distance! there is no doubt that the next time my family or friends are visiting... we WILL be renting this place AGAIN!
