Buzzard’s Nest is a brand new timber cabin in the heart of the country on a working dairy farm .The cabin is set back into private woodland area and it gets its name from a nest that can be seen in one of the trees there. Being set up high on Rosewall Hill in an area of outstanding beauty, ‘Buzzard’s Nest’ has some of the most breath taking views out over the country and the sea which can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the large decking area provided. Whilst being in an idyllic country setting, ‘Buzzard’s Nest’ is a mere 2 minute drive from the lively old fishing port of St Ives.St Ives caters for all your needs, from pubs and clubs to beaches and art galleries, to name a few. We are also at the start of the stunning coastal drive which stretches all the way to Lands End. We are set in spectacular countryside yet are only a 2 minute drive into the famous town of St Ives. We are also situated at the start of the stunning coastal drive from St Ives to Land's End. With a huge amount of beaches to choose from you will be spoilt for choice on where to go. Walking is extremely popular in our areas and again you will be spoilt for choice over the miles of countryside and moors. Buzzard's Nest itself is set high up on Rosewall Hill therefore the views are breath taking and can be enjoyed from your private decking area. St Ives and its surrounding areas has something for everyone - you wont be disappointed!

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (British Pound) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Lettings are for a maximum of four weeks and commence from 1500 hours on the Friday and end at 1000 hours on the Friday at the end of the tenancy.
  • The tenancy is created within the meaning of section 9 of the rent act 1977.
    The tenant agrees:
    a. To keep and leave the accommodation in a tidy state.
    b. To pay for any breakages and damage.
    c. To allow the owner reasonable access.
  • We only accept bookings in advance. Your provisional booking can be made by Email or via our website Contact Form.
    These will be held for 7 days. If we have not received the deposit within this time the booking will be canceled.
    Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost and completed Booking Form.
    The balance is payable in full 4 weeks before the start of your holiday, failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your booking.
    Any bookings made less than 4 weeks ahead must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable. Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer or cheque only. Sorry we can not accept credit/debit cards at this time.

Buzzard's Nest was a real find. It was just what we were looking for - away from the hustle and bustle or St Ives town, but close enough to reach it easily (via a 2 minute car ride). The cabin has an excellent location, set on a farm with a wooded area behind, and is clean and well maintained. Our children loved feeding the chickens, entertaining the cats, and pretending to be Spider-man in the hude cargo net in the woods behind. The cosy cabin really is as good as it looks in the photos and we would certainly recommended it!

We found Buzzards nest exactly as described on the web page, a quiet and idilic retreat, away from everything. The location was perfect for walking into nearby St Ives or along the coastal path, or exploring the best that cornwall has to offer by car. The layout of the cabin is simple yet has everything that you need and more, they really have thought of everything. We found it to be clean & tidy. On our arival we were welcomed by a basket of fresh eggs from the chickens behind the cabin and some milk straight from the cows that day. Marina and Simon are both very welcoming without being in your pockets. I would recomend this cabin to friends and family and would revisit myself.

Our family had a lovely holiday at Buzzard's Nest. We found the location being about 1/2 miles from St Ives ideal, all the facilities of the town and beaches but feeling away from the hustle and bustle back at the cabin. Loved sitting out on the deck with a fantastic view across the valley.

The accommodation is accurately described and provides an excellent base, everything you need without being cluttered, tastefully decorated and clean.

Plenty of information available in the cabin relating to the area in terms of activities, gardens and historic buildings to visit, beaches, walks local and further afield, also resturants and pubs.

We received a warm welcome and could thoroughly recommend a stay at Buzzards Nest.

Very nice cabin

A perfect place for relaxing holidays. The cabin is new, very well equipped and clean. It is set up in a beautiful area with a great view over the hills. The place is nice for families as the kids can play outside.

The owners are very kind and helpful.

We have already recommended the cabin to our friends and would like to spend another holiday there

We had a great time the cabin had everything you needed for a relaxing chilling break. The owners were on hand if needed. Very peaceful and easy reach of places in the st Ives area. The property was very clean with fresh linen and towels provided on arrival and refreshed the middle weekend.The description said it all about the property. The children loved making friends with the owners cat,dog and chickens. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday.The watermill restaurant between st Ives and Hayle does good food reasonable priced.You can eat in the garden,bar or if you book you can eat up stairs this did this for a family celebration.Lots of walks around the area we walked from sennen cove to lands End. The car parks get busy in August so you need to get to places early,but if you park at the first car park in sennen cove always spaces.
