This third floor 1 bedroom, 1 bath suite on the South side of the Hokulani tower has both ocean views toward the island of Lanai as well as West Maui mountain views. There many world class amenities at this property with three large pools with water falls, water slide, and lazy river pool to name a few. There are two places to eat on this property one of them is located in the Hokulani and is the Aina Gourmet Cafe, and the other is Duke's Beach House Restaurant. Both are open all day. There is also a Keiki Day Care Center in the Hokulani tower for all guests use. This is the newest condo-tel on Kaanapali in over 25 years, and being on the North end of Kaanapali Beach affords you easy access to Times Supermarket across the street from the Konea tower and the property itself. There is incredible snorkeling when there are no waves and when there are waves you have great body boarding as well as surfing right in front of the Honua Kai Resort. Also one of the great new features to the North Kaanapali Beach area is the board walk which goes from the park next to this property (Honoapiilani Park) to the South for great walks in the mornings or at sunset. This suite also has a large lanai where you will enjoy morning breakfast as well as all meals with a large lanai table for 4 people and an occasional chair to enjoy reading on your private and quiet lanai. If you are looking for a great property at a competitive rate then look no further than this beautiful suite 308 Hokulani tower. So come and relax and enjoy peaceful days or nights in this incredible suite as there is no wind on the South side of the Hokulani tower. It doesn't get much better than this for a comparable suite at Honua Kai or any one bedroom in the West side of Maui!

We stayed here 2 weeks. Condo was very high end. Loved the sliding glass that opened up to the lanai and let all the fresh hawaii air in. Everyone was very friendly. Nice amenities. Would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful place!

My wife and I stayed here with our two young children (ages 1 and 5) and had a great time. The room was spotless, modern, and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking our own meals. Wonderful large, bright bathroom with separate tub and shower. King size bed and pull out couch were reasonably comfortable for sleeping. We were comfortable, but if we come back in a few years when the kids are a bit older we'd probably spring for a larger unit. Air conditioner conked out for about 24hrs, which apparently was a building-wide issue. Brooke was excellent - available and helpful and the issue was taken care of. Facilities (pools, beach, etc) were great as well, we'll probably be back again.

March 2013 Vacation

Overall, I would rate the condo, along with the property manager, Brooke Moore, as excellent. Brooke was there to greet us when we arrived, did a great job explaining the details of the condo itself along with the Honua Kai development, and made it clear that he was available if any condo-related problems were to arise during our stay. Brooke even explained how the A/C shuts off if the lanai doors are kept open for a certain period of time, which was something that was never explained to us by another property manager when we rented a condo (two doors down) the previous year.

As it turned out, we had no issues with the condo itself -- the place was clean and well-maintained, and the appliances were in excellent condition. Although we did not use the clothes washer and dryer when we were there, they both looked cleaner and in better condition than any in-condo washer/dryer combos we've ever seen before, and we are confident that they would have worked just fine if we had needed to use them. In addition, the furniture was simple but in good condition, and was reasonably comfortable. The only minus I can think of was the bed, which was not quite as comfortable as we wanted, but considering that we have an extra-thick pillowtop mattress at home, I'll admit we're a bit spoiled in that respect!

I would recommend this condo to any couple who is planning to spend 1-2 weeks in Maui, especially those who are planning to do some driving around the island, as the condo is conveniently located about 50 feet from an elevator leading to the parking garage (and all levels above it). Come to think of it, the elevator is also a few feet from a door leading to the pool area on the ground level, so it's convenient for those planning to spend their time by the pool as well!
