St. Augustine is an enchanting and artistic town with important history, great shopping, wonderful galleries, restaurants, golf and fishing. In fact Forbes named St. Augustine among the top 10 prettiest towns in the country. National Geographic named the town one of the 10 best places in the world to see holiday lights. ranked St. Augustine among the top 15 U.S. travel destinations on the rise, one of the most walkable cities and the best place to feel like you're in Europe even though you're stateside. So come see for yourself!
Welcome to my home! I currently work in New York City but since I travel frequently to St. Augustine I decided to buy a second home. After thoroughly researching the area I purchased my lovely condo in what used to be the servants quarters for the Flagler Hotel in the 1800s. My unit has been completely luxuriously remodeled with all new furniture. I hope my home brings as much joy to you as it brings to me. Again, welcome and enjoy!
Janice Brown purchased this condo in 2009
You have a wonderful condo full of very homey touches. We loved coming back after a hard day of fun in St. Augustine! You have thought of everything to make it just right.
This condo was beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. After walking all over the city, I'm not sure there is a more perfect location from which to enjoy St. Augustine. It is in a quiet neighborhood away from the touristy areas, but still an easy walk (<10 minutes) to a wide variety of restaurants and historical attractions. If we make it back to St. Augustine, we will definitely try to stay here again!
Melody's condo is the best place to stay in St. Augustine! The location is wonderful and a dedicated parking space is such a plus. You can park your car, know it is safe, and walk to many of the restaurants and historical sites in St. Augustine. The condo also is only a couple of blocks from the trolly stops where you can hop on and hop off to see many of the sites. In addition to the location, the condo itself is wonderful. It is roomy, beautifully decorated, and has all the ammenities you could want. We highly recommend this condo to anyone who visits St. Augustine.
We stayed in this fabulous condo for the month of January 2015. It is extremely comfortable, clean, and in a wonderful location. Close to all the action but in a quiet neighbourhood. The owner was great to deal with. She met us when we arrived, showed us how everything works, and gave us some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. She was very responsive throughout our whole stay. The condo has everything you need as well as lots of ambiance with high ceilings, original wood floors, and a lovely little deck. I would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again when in beautiful St. Augustine.
This is a great place to stay when visiting Saint Augustine. It is very close to the heart of downtown, but just enough removed that it is a nice quiet street to be on. The condo has everything you need in the way of home and kitchen essentials and even nice comfy beach towels are provided! It is a very clean space and totally updated. We have stayed here twice now and had as many as 4 staying in the house and it is very comfortable. Highly recommended!
My husband and I were blown away at the condo as it had the WOW factor for sure.
The location was great so close to all the great restaurants and historic downtown.
We loved everything about this condo. We will be returning for sure.
My wife and I were recently reminiscing about last October's vacation trip from Arkansas, down through the Cajun country of South Louisiana to New Orleans, then onward along the Gulf Coast and across Florida to St. Augustine. We started playing a little game that we call "Best". "Best beach?", she asked. "St. Augustine!", I answered, a no-brainer. "Best accommodations?", I countered. Without missing a beat, she shouted, "Melody's condo!" "Absolutely!", I agreed. Of all of the properties that we stayed in on that trip, this beautiful St. Augustine condo was the best of the best. Located a short walk (3-5 minutes) from the heart of the picturesque historic district, the two bedroom, two bath condominium faces a quiet, palm-lined residential street. All of the usual amenities are available, HDTV in both the living room and master bedroom, broadband internet, fully equipped kitchen and dining room (but with so many good restaurants a short walk away, who cooks?) and luxurious bathroom appointments. The large bath in the master suite contains a sumptuous glass-enclosed European shower, double vanity sinks, and more than enough counter space to accommodate all of the notions, lotions, and potions my wife brings along, with plenty of room left over for my toothbrush. In addition to the master suite, there's a second cozy bedroom and bath as well. All of the furnishings are in exquisite taste and excellent condition. There are dozens of restaurants within a short walk of the condo, as well as a variety of unique museums, art galleries, and nightlife. St Augustine is considered to be the oldest continuously occupied city in the United States. The architectural influence of the early French and Spanish settlers permeates the neighborhood and the city. A number of guided tours are available that will unlock the hidden secrets which seem to lie around every corner. Within a very short drive are pristine beaches, an historical lighthouse park, Marineland, and river tours. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, you'll find that condo owner Melody will go the extra mile to make your stay in St. Augustine "the best of the best"!
Most visitors start out with a sightseeing tour on one of the trolleys to get an overview of the city, as well as some of its history. Must sees would include the Castillo de San Marco, the Lightner Museum, a stroll down historic and pedestrian friendly St. George Street, a cruise or a sail on Mantanzas Bay, a visit to the San Sebastian Winery, a tour of Henry Flagler’s hotel, Ponce de Leon, now Flagler College and maybe even a ghost tour. A short distance away is the St.Augustine lighthouse and the beaches. There’s lots to see. Enjoy yourself.
