Thank you so much Sheila and Terry for all your help. We had a lovely week long stay in your immaculate home and were amazed at how homely and well equipped it was (not to mention spotlessly clean), including many extra's we were not expecting - You have thought of everything! The children made good use of the lilo in the swimming pool, and we rarely shared the pool during our stay.
Plenty of shops and restaurants (we've found Denny's and Perkins family restaurants to do a particularly lovely breakfast!!) within a very straightforward 10 minute drive.
Your home is extremely well situated within Palm Key Village, with no other homes at the back of the property and we found it to be lovely and quiet, which is a treat after a fun packed day in the Orlando area.
After many visits to florida this was the first time we had stayed in a home as opposed to a hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of how small your party may be, not only is the price extremely reasonable for the comfort you receive but we also saved considerable money by having breakfast or a meal at home instead of constantly eating out. The Publix Supermarket a short drive away certainly caters well for those who like certain brands of food from home.
Very nice clubhouse too containing table tennis and a pool table next to the pool area, as well as plenty of leaflets and information on attractions in the area.
We also appreciated the tip of an alternative route from the airport to your home, as it saved us substantial time by avoiding rush hour traffic, and in addition we made a trip to Fort de Soto State Park as recommended in your guide, a lovely beach and recreation area on the gulf coast that we had not been familiar with - what a find!
I will highly recommend your home to friends, family or anyone looking for a holiday in Florida and wouldn't hesitate to return again.
