Coast and beach:
The drive that leads to Aurora continues down through the olive groves to the idyllic Avlaki Bay. The white pebble beach, with its crystal clear water, is ideal for swimming and snorkeling, sun beds and umbrellas are available. The Avlaki Sailing School provides tuition and boats for hire. Pedalos and canoes are available and, for the less energetic, motor boats may be hired. The two excellent beachfront tavernas will keep you replete throughout the day. Avlaki beach is a 10 min walk or a 5 min drive down an unmade road.
There is a beautiful, slowly shelving, sandy beach at Agios Spiridon (11kms, 20 mins). There are a few beach front tavernas where you can enjoy drinks and snacks.

Greek Sailing Holidays, established in Corfu in 1995, offers dinghy sailing and windsurfing hire and tuition in the warm Mediterranean holiday environment of Avlaki.
Corfu Divers is a PADI registered dive centre in Kassiopi. It is the most organized dive operator on Corfu with three PADI master instructors to supervise dives and training. Corfu Divers offers the complete set of PADI dive qualifications starting with Discover Scuba all the way to Dive Master. In addition, guided snorkeling tours are organized daily of one of the three reefs of Kassiopi
The Aqualand water theme park is approximately one hour's drive (33kms) and is great fun for all the family.
Eating:
The nearest supermarket is in Sinies (1.5km) where there is also a small bakery. Kassiopi is a 3km. drive where there are larger supermarkets, tavernas and restaurants.
There are two beach front tavernas at the foot of the drive from Villa Aurora. Agios Stefanos (2.5km) has four waterfront tavernas to choose from.
