About Lana Thorne
We live and work in England in the heart of the Lake District with our two teenage children.
After some fifteen years in Hotel management around the world we started our own business by purchasing the renowned 16th century Inn at Grasmere -The Travellers Rest.
Some years later we acquired the Kings Head at Thirlmere, Sweeneys bar and Restaurant in Keswick, The Lodge in the vale and holiday homes in Grasmere, Keswick, and Ambleside.
Lana Thorne purchased this villa in 2011
Why Lana Thorne chose Kalkan
Sailing in the Lake district is very popular with visitors and locals alike. It is this family activity that took us to Turkey some ten years ago and we fell in love with this fascinating country. After many return visits to Turkey for both relaxing and activity holidays, we discovered Kalkan and decided to purchase off plan Infinity View.
we have travelled and sailed all over Turkey, but decided to choose Kalkan as a permanent base because it has something for everyone and is our favourite place by far.
What makes this villa unique
Infinity view commands superb uninterrupted views out to sea , mouse and snake Islands from all rooms, infinity pool , patio and terraces.
The villa is part of a small exclusive quality development with a friendly clubhouse bar and restaurant looking onto the large Infinity pool out to sea .
Infinity view is only a five minute drive from into Kalkan and fifteen minutes to the famous Patara Beach. It is great to hire a car and explore the surrounding areas, or alternatively use our friendly resort taxi driver.
Nowhere could we find a location that combines all our requirements, convenient, yet far enough away from the bustling town to provide a peaceful retreat.
Infinity view is enjoyed by ourselves, family and friends, but we are happy to share our second home in this most beautiful place.

“A view that got better every day”
Reviewed November 2, 2012
When we arrived at Infinity View, we were immediately impressed by the standard of the finish of the villa, the choice of furnishings and the stunning pool area. However I always think that the test of a truly great villa is not just a good first impression, but if it grows on you over a period of days . Infinity View did just that and we particularly loved sitting on the hammock gazing at the view, especially first thing in the morning when tiny little birds would swoop over and around the villa, garden and pool. The holiday provided a really welcome respite and was incredibly relaxing. It was hard to tear ourselves away and we did not do that much local exploring. Kalkan was a great base and we had a lovely evening boat trip with Deniz. On our last day, our flight was not until the evening. However the management let us stay an extra hour in the villa and then we decamped to the resort pool and bar. They made us feel so welcome that a day that we thought would drag, flew past making it very hard to leave. Can highly recommend the complex, villa and area for a lovely holiday.
