3 Bedroom, 2 full bath house with beautifully updated kitchen and eat-in area for up to 7. Enjoy al fresco dining and relax on large patio surrounded by beautiful garden. Heat lamp and grill included. Master bedroom and bath on separate upstairs level. Second bedroom with queen bed, third bedroom with futon opening to full(double)bed. Large living room with working fire place, and the comfortable family room on lower level features a large tv.

Excellent for small staff retreats; available for single days during the week (no two-day minimum for daily use).

About Kathleen Kelly

Owned by widow with two grown children. We moved here when our oldest child was in kindergarten, and our kids went through the local grade and high schools. It's a great neighborhood! I live here most of the year, and only rent this out when I'm traveling.

Who doesn't love the San Francisco Bay Area? A little known secret is that the weather is much better in Oakland than in SF, because it is sunnier and warmer, but not hot like in the more suburban areas.

What makes this house unique

Enjoy eating or relaxing in the newly renovated inside rooms or outside on the new patio. Take a walk in the neighborhood and see the views of the Oakland and Berkeley hills, or turn the other direction and see the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges.

Lovely house, lovely stay

I recently rented this house for a group of friends who were coming to town. Kathleen, the owner, was very nice and informative. I got such a good vibe from her, that it was one of the reasons I chose this property. The house was exactly as described and the photos were all accurate. We loved the big, beautiful backyard. I would absolutely recommend this house to others, and my friends have already talked about renting it again in the future!

Beautiful house with the comforts of home.

My husband and I recently rented this property for ourselves and some guests at our wedding. Kathleen's home essentially became the bridal suite. This home is beautiful, charming and the amount of space was just right. We have received nonstop praise for the home by our guests and those who stopped by on our wedding day. This home is conveniently located near a smalll business area. We are very familiar with the area because we live near there and can tell you it is a safe and relaxing neighborhood. The home is also priced right.

What made the experience most enjoyable was the owner Kathleen. She was very prepared, welcoming and a wonderful person all around.

If you are planning a stay in the Bay Area, we would certainly recommend this home. We wish we could get married every year so we could stay in Kathleen's house.

A cozy home artistically furnished

We recently moved from the Bay Area and this was a perfect home to settle in for a weekend with a reunion of our grown sons from both coasts. The occasion was seeing a Cal football game in the newly remodeled stadium. The house is charming, cozy and just like the photos. The owner is gracious and so helpful, the house was very clean and the yards are beautifully maintained. We would love to return again and would certainly recommend it to our friends and relatives.

A REAL home away from home!!

My 2 cousins and I needed a nice place to stay which would also be a good place to have some people over who live in the bay area for an informal get together. This lovely home more than lived up to our expectations and satisfied our needs perfectly! Neat, clean, bright, spacious without being enormous, with a great kitchen and backyard garden which was perfect for entertaining guests...we can't say enough nice things about this home and Kathleen, the owner. She was so helpful and left us all kinds of good information to make our stay easy and just like home! The location is super, not far from airport and BART and the Bay Bridge. We would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice, real "home away from home"!
