This family size apartment (approx 2000 sq ft) with original features and high ceilings forms part of a Victorian Parade in Kew Village, minutes away from Kew's Royal Botanical Gardens and the National Archives (public records office) and with excellent transport links to Richmond-Upon-Thames, the West End and London's markets, shopping and major tourist attractions. Twickenham stadium, home of English rugby, is nearby and Wimbledon an easy commute by train or tube (metro). The accommodation comprises 3 large double bedrooms, two ensuite, with a playroom on the top floor serving as a 4th double bedroom when required. Two further bathrooms and large double aspect lounge and dining room make this an ideal property for families, groups or corporate lets. A front balcony and large sash windows offer elevated views of the village while the large, well-equipped kitchen has French doors onto a sunny south facing balcony.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 20% deposit is required at time of booking with balance payable 2 weeks before rental commences.
  • Check-in is from 4pm on day that rental is due to commence, and check-out is at midday on the day after the last night booked. Depending on bookings, you may contact me to arrange earlier check in or to extend departure times by a few hours.
    Rates include electricity, gas, final house clean and final laundry. Bed linen and towels are included.
  • At the end of your stay if you wish to extend and the property is not already booked, additional nights will be charged at 180 pounds per night (approx $300 US) or the full weekly rate should you reserve a further week.

Royal Botanic Gardens Kew: A World Heritage Site, the Gardens cover over 300 acres (120ha) of land and splendid glasshouses contain over 40,000 species of plant life and 9,000 trees. Kew is not only a beautiful place to visit but functions as a botanical research centre and maintains the largest plant collection in the world. We love these gardens and go almost daily as they are such a short walk away. We recommend that if you plan to visit more than three times during your stay you buy an annual pass, costing less than the price of three visits. In December and January an ice skating rink is open in front of the Temperate House and in July a series of summer swing outdoor concerts are held in the evenings followed by spectacular fireworks displays.

The National Archive ( the Public Record Office): The National Archive (formerly the Public Record Office) is also based in Kew. It is the UK government's official archive, containing almost 1,000 years of history, with records ranging from parchment and paper scrolls and the Domesday Book through to digital files and archived websites. Discover your family history with this vast collection of records and guides.

London Borough of Richmond upon Thames: Kew is located in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The River Thames runs through the heart of the borough for 21 miles linking Hampton Court Palace, Richmond town centre and Kew Gardens with central London. The river is a great way to see many of the attractions in the area including Marble Hill House, Ham House and Hampton Court Palace, or head east to Westminster, the Tower of London and Greenwich. Whether you like history & heritage, dining, shopping and theatre, walking, playing about on the river, or watching world class sport, Richmond upon Thames has something for everyone.

This home is lovely and spacious. The play room was perfect for our 3 yr old son, and has sky lights that keep it cheery on those gray English days. The home is literally next to everything you could need -- grocer, organic market, shops, pharmacy, cafes, metro, playground and gardens. The home is clean, beautiful and very sound proof and safe. The bathrooms are modern and the washer was easy to use. The neighborhood is charming and safe. The owner was very thoughtful for booking and met us at the home and helped us settle in. We've stayed in other rentals across Europe and this was the best by far. It is our standard of perfection. The terraces are lovely and are a great way to great some fresh air without having to go all the way to a park when at home. Also, the kitchen is truly fully equipped with anything you could need unlike other rentals which just have the bare minimum. Thanks for a wonderful stay and for being so kind and thoughtful in all of our interactions!!!
