Gorgeous home/ Fantastic views

I have been to Grenada 3 times over several years and this Island is my favorite in the Caribbean. This past July I persuaded my wife and our close friends (2 other couples) to take a 10 day vacation to Grenada. I usually stay at the Spice Island Inn, however I decided to explore the possibility of renting a villa for the 6 of us. I knew that the area around Fort Jeudy was beautiful, private, and within 20 minutes of St. Georges and 15 minutes to Grande Anse Beach (top 10 in the world). After much research it was my good fortune to find and book Sunrise Villa.
This is a beautiful home that looks like mother nature built it herself. Four spacious bedrooms, 4 full baths, a den with panoramic views, a large fully equipped kitchen, and an open space living and dining area that captures the sea breezes that circulate throughout the house. Although the bedrooms are all air-conditioned we preferred the sea breezes at night. The home is furnished with wonderful antiques and beautiful woodwork.
The villa has drop dead views of the Caribbean, Atlantic, the Fort Jeudy Inlet and the lush mountainous rainforest. Tropical plants, palm trees and flowers surround the home. The large outdoor fresh water pool with wrap around deck and outdoor dining area is as close to heaven as this world offers. Many moonlit 75 degree nights were spent dining with our friends on this spot.
The staff made sure that we had a most pleasant stay, from the property manager, the personal driver and the maid. The property manager makes sure all our needs were met, with clear instructions throughout the house with all amenities. Although you are not on the beach, the views are amazing and the walk is not far. There is plenty to explore by foot and by car. If not comfortable driving, the driver lives in the neighborhood and can drive you at your convenience around the island, to the store, etc. They will also guide you as to the best restaurants, beaches, trips, shopping, diving, fishing etc.
My favorite restaurants were Le Phare Blue, The Beach House (fabulous), and Aquarium. Aquarium is on a white sand beach and serves lunch and dinner and has a lovely Tiki-bar. You can lounge the entire day away here.
I would like to thank the property manager for making our stay such a pleasant and stress free time. We all plan to return ASAP - and several of our other friends want to join us - based on our enthusiastic conversations and our photos.
