Great base for a week in London

This 2 bedroom apartment was clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and our tall 16 year old son found the sofa a comfortable alternative to the double bed when our family extended to 5 people for 3 of our 7 nights. Location was fantastic with a bus stop out the front taking us to the tube station of Westbourne Park. There were plenty of shops close by for necessary supplies and my husband loved the bakery just around the corner. Paul met us at the apartment on our first night and was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for helping to make our stay in London such an enjoyable one.

Thanks to Paul for a lovely stay in his flat in Maida Vale!
It was a very comfortable flat to come home to after a long day. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and comfortable beds with nice pillows and duvets. Nice modern bathroom.
There were buses out front for Notting Hill Gate area and around the corner for Warwick Ave tube and or Oxford St. it was very easy to get around, and we went all over! The shops right two steps away had lots of breakfast food and good fruit. We topped our oyster cards at the shop around the corner, everything was very convenient.
There were three of us adults and we heartily recommend this flat!

Very nice flat

Very friendly owner, nice and clean place. The location is good, several buses stop right in front of the door. The tube is also in walking distance. There is a good pub and some nice shops in the neighborhood. The bedrooms are on the back of the flat where there is no street noise. Oh, and the matressess are very good.The kitchen is well equipped. The only downside is that there is no real dining table, just a little kitchen counter, which is a bit small for four or five. But that aside, it is a very good place to spend time in London.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Beautiful Apartment!!

The apartment is absolutely beautiful. Beautifully decorated with everything you need. Paul was a great host and had all sorts of maps and tour information ready for us to review. Its a 10 minute walk to the tube or you can take the bus. I felt very safe in the location and the apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer and there so pack light! The location is in west London which if you want to party or hit a bar after midnight it is not the place for you but if you wanted a clean apartment with a great location (bust stops right across the street!) and plenty or markets and cafes around and near the the tube then this is the place for you. There are bars nearby but bare in mind this is a quieter section of London and mostly everything was closed after midnight. The party section was more towards East London. No worries we still had fun. There's a park up the block and Notting hill is the next neighborhood over. Beds were comforatble and gratefully the flat is on the 1st floor. We walked all over Paris I don't think we could have done any more stairs! I would definately stay here again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Staying with young kids

We had a fantastic week in the apartment in Maida Vale. We have two very young children (2 and 6 months) and the apartment was perfect. The bus stop is outside and takes you to ket parts of London (Victoria/Oxford Street/knightsbridge) so very easy to get around with a buggy.

Apartment was very clean and well maintained and everything was in working order. An excellent use of compact space but enough room to eat and sleep which is all you need in London. Fixtures in the flat are excellent and the place felt very up market.

Lots of things to do in the local area, with a short walk to pubs/little venice/lords, etc.

Would definitely recommend to anyone.
