Located on the Thames overlooking Shakespeare's Globe and the Tate Modern

Located in the heart of the capital's financial district this apartment boasts views of some of the capital's finest attractions from the living room and bedroom windows including Shakespeare's Globe, the Tate Modern and the Miillenium bridge. The communal roof terrace offers views of the City skyline and St Paul's Cathdral.

This two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is located within 200 yds of Mansion House tube station and opposite the Bankside quay for Thames Clippers river cruises. It is also walking distance from St Paul's Cathedral, Borough Market, and is located on the Thames river walkway with the London Eye and Tower of London only a short walk in either direction.

The apartment itself is newly refurbished and is furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher cooker, fridge and freezer and the living room benefits from a large LCD TV, DVD player and stereo.

Better than any hotel

Our stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful. To walk in and see the view of the Thames right outside all of the apartment windows was just the perfect way to start our trip. It was also very relaxing, which was much needed after a day of travel.

Matthew was very helpful in planning our visit. This was my first time booking through this website, and he patiently answered all my questions about the process and the apartment. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Maureen's daughter who let us in and showed us around and told us how to find the nearest grocery stores.

The apartment is close to two tube stations, and is close enough to an information center where we signed up for a Hop On Hop Off tour. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance of the apartment. The apartment itself is just fabulous. We loved it so much and were so comfortable, that we spent some time just lounging and relaxing in it. It was welcomed respite after a day of sight-seeing.

The only let down was that the washer and the faucet in the tub were broken. But there were washing machines in the basement, so that worked out well. And the tub still worked just fine, so it was not a huge inconvenience.

We would definitely stay here again on another visit to London!

Fabulous London Home Away from Home

Our family of 5 (parents and 3 adult children) spent a wonderful holiday week at this fabulous flat right on the River Thames. The apartment offered every amenity we needed and more.

The owners, Matthew & Maureen could not have been kinder or more accommodating of our needs. Because we arrived on Christmas Eve, we were concerned that shops might not be open. Matthew & Maureen went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Many thanks to them --such gracious hosts!

It was wonderful to be so close to St. Paul's, the Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe, etc. So many wonderful sights in easy walking distance.

We highly recommend this City home!

Happy Danes in London

The Internet can be a deceptive media - we have been disappointed before. But this time both text end photos seemed so very promising that we were carefully optimistic - and we were not disappointed. Not in the least. Everything exceeded our expectations and provided a both comfortable and tasteful base for our stay in London.

Everything was perfect - even the weather - and we do not hesitate to recommend this apartment with its unsurpassed view of the Globe Theatre, Tate Modern and the Thames with all its activities.

This property is of the highest quality with stunning views and it's central location is perfect for accessing both the West End and the South Bank. If you're a culture vulture you are in for a treat as you really are in the middle of everything.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had every amenity you could want. All the rooms were bright and sunny and if you're driving you are very close to a secure parking garage. There was a small welcome grocery pack which was a great touch especially as a cup of refreshing tea was needed after the long journey.

The owner was easy to contact and access and exit went very smoothly.

We highly recommend this apartment for a stay in London.

After a very informative first email, securing the property was a very easy and straight forward affair. This property was extremely well located, close enough to the main tourist attractions. All amenities included, very comfortable home. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I would definitaly recommend these properties to a friend and plan to return in the very near future.
