Casa Finlandia Linger Lane situated in beautiful Idyllwild, in Southern California, is a stunning 2,400 square foot Finnish custom log cabin which can accommodate 8 people in incredible comfort, has 3 bedrooms/loft, and 2 full and 2 half bathrooms is available for vacation rentals year round.

Located about a mile from the town, you can walk or drive with breathtaking views of Lilly rock, mountains and Pine tress.

This is an incredibly peaceful and quiet place - the perfect place to relax and unwind, or go hiking or climbing, or bike riding. Lake Hemet were you can go fishing and boating after a fun day, enjoy our amazing log sauna, cooking an amazing kitchen were the whole family can gather together or BBQ out on the patio, enjoying the fresh mountain air and smell of pine tress.

During the winter just imagine you awaking to a winter wonderland surround in this beautiful Finnish home and all the snow outside the window, prefect day to spend cuddling by a fire, playing board games with the kids or just drinking coffee, tea or hot chocolate by a warm burning fireplace.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Irma was very welcoming from our first conversation on. The home was wonderful and well stocked with all amenities. Just bring yourselves, food and clothes and that's all you need. It was nice to kick back and relax on the deck (my favorite spot). The sounds of the birds and squirrels kept our little mini australian shepherd "Ozzy" quite busy. The walk to town is very invigorating as well. Thanks very much for opening your home to us. We will definitely be back!

Wow! You know how you look at pictures and hope it's really that nice? Well, this is even better than the pictures, if you can imagine that. Perfectly clean, state of the art appliances and a warm, homey feeling from the furnishings. Plenty of room and privacy for all, or just the two of you go and enjoy it all to yourself. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of outdoor activities at your fingertip. The hosts, Irma and Jouko were accomodating with our questions and needs and always available. You just can't beat this place for a vacation!!

This home is magnificent!! We had three families staying there for the weekend before Christmas and everyone had a great and comfortable time. Everyone was real impress with the house the moment we stepped our feet in. It's a real cozy home with lots of modern upgraded appliances. The house is real clean and well kept. It is also pretty close to the nearby town, where they have a great selection of shops and restaurants.

This is surely a home away from home. Thanks for opening your doors to us, Irma!! It was a great fun weekend at your log home and surely a memorable one! I can't wait to return again to this wonderful place!!

We had the pleasure of staying in Casa Finlandia to celebrate our anniversary. It was an amazingly beautiful house with such charm and warmth! A blanket of hospitality surrounds you from the minute of walking through the door. This is truly a one of a kind property. It's like you are staying in your own house. You can tell the owners really took pride in offering their own home for us to use for the weekend. I felt like we were renting from a friend - not a business transaction from a stranger.

The bedrooms and charming and cozy. We stayed in the bedroom on the main floor and my husband said it was more comfortable than our bed at home!! The kitchen had everything we needed and more!

The photos on this site really reflect exactly what you will see upon renting this property. The property is immaculate and taken care of very well. The owner is the nicest lady ever and responded to all my questions right away. We would definitely recommend this property to everyone and we look forward to returning!!

Thank you for everything!!!

PS: We LOVED reading about the history of your home country with those little booklets!! What a nice addition!

Beautiful Cabin!

What an amazing place! Thank you Irma and Jouko for sharing your wonderful home with us! Everything we needed was there - a great kitchen stocked with basics and more, comfy beds, relaxing sauna. We ate all our meals on the large deck with wonderful views of the mountain. The log cabin is just a short way from Idyllwild town center, but still so peaceful and quiet. The cabin was way better than the pictures, spacious and huge! Well maintained and very clean. We’ve been here twice, I'm sure we'll be back again!
