Why April chose Grand Canyon Village

We were looking for a place to escape the heat in Phoenix. After searching several locations throughout northern Arizona, we selected Williams for it's charm and beauty. Plus, we loved the lush greenery of the golf course area and the nearby lakes and hiking trails. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. You will be welcomed by the locals and greeted in a warm fashion. The town is very safe. Ponderosa Playce is a member of the Williams Chamber of Commerce.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for your kind note and prompt return of our deposit. We really enjoyed your home and neighborhood. We hope to return and stay again! It is great that you maintain such a lovely home and offer it to visitors to beautiful Williams AZ! The kitchen amenities and "staples" (salt, pepper, oil and the like) made our stay even more homey.

Great rental home!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, two adult children and their spouses stayed at Ponderosa Playce while visiting the Grand Canyon. The home is clean, comfortable, and well appointed as well as beautiful. A grocery store and tourist attractions/restaurants for Historic Route 66 were nearby.

Excellent location for visiting Northern Arizona

  • 5 of 5

Such a wonderful place to stay with more amenities than we expected. The house is right in the middle of many things to do. We took the suggestion to go to sycamore point vista. Very secluded canyon and we had a blast getting there. If you go, you'll find out why. Sedona was beautiful. We were awe struck by the grand canyon. I would definitely rent this home again. It was truly like being at home and we enjoyed every moment.

Favorite Home

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed your home very much--I think it was our favorite out of the 4 homes we stayed in over two weeks. Everything was very comfortable, and the yard was excellent for playing in the snow. The washer issue wasn't a problem for us, it actually started working after Jim came by! He must have some kind of magic powers. We enjoyed downtown Williams also--we spent some time shopping before we left town Thursday morning. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks for having your home open to families like ours, it definitely beats staying in hotels. I'll make sure to leave a good review to go along with the others you've earned!

Great!!

April was very accommodating and the house was perfect. Everything was clean and in close proximity to our excursions (south kaibab trail, etc). At night it was very nice to sit right under the stars. I will have to visit again. Thank you again April!
