Originally established as roman settlement the city became the centre of medieval European trade. Under the heel of the Medici family, it was the cradle of Renaissance. Florence was capital in the Kingdom of Italy and it is still one of the most charming town in the world.
The city lies in the hearth of Tuscany amidst the Chianti’s hills. It is one of the best preserved medieval architectural estate and its districts are still retained.

Villa Ginestra is located in a land full of art, culture and breathtaking views.
We really enjoyed spending our holiday here.
Your Villa is absolutely great with it's wonderful view to Florence and the beautiful tuscanian landscape.
We brought our 3 young kids with us to the villa and had a fabulous time. My kids loved having their own house and yard to play in at the end of the day. And they especially loved petting the owners' dogs. The owners were excellent, very helpful with anything and everything. They even put out a box of toys for my kids. It was a fabulous Italian experience!
This is truly one remarkable place to stay.
The host Leonardo was very gracious and kind in our many questions about
It is very clean, grounds were immaculate, as well as the Villa.
I would recommend getting a rental car so you can easily get supplies, visit Florence or tour the rural area's. It's a little far to the stores or nearest restaurant's. It's a good hike if you do it (we did multiple times by foot)
It's very private, calm, and very safe.
The view is hard to beat, and the pool is perfect for those hot Tuscan nights.
Thank you Leonardo and Paolo for such a perfect Holiday, we will see you again.
