This 1913 historic home has been fully renovated and re-decorated.Fully furnished the house is perfect for the relocating professional, long-term business traveller, vacationer, or short term guests to the city.

With stainless steel appliances, modern kitchen, and open layout there has been no expense spared to provide every comfort of home and then some. There are 2 full sized bedrooms that both have large walk out decks to enjoy, and a third bedroom with pull out couch.

The home is set up with a WI-FI access, cable t.v., heating, and electricity all included in the rental/lease. The home is next to the bus stop, 15 minute walk to the LRT, and a 5 minute walk from the Stampede grounds and local bike and running paths. Downtown can be accessed with a short 5 minute drive and can generally avoid all traffic on the commute to the city center.

About Glenn Moore

Growing up in Calgary and working downtown for the past 10 years made this an ideal spot for me to live. Since relocating to the US I began renovations on this 1913 home to bring everything up to code and make this a modern and enjoyable property for anyone to stay in. As the city continues to expand this older community is ideally located to access the downtown core, local pathways, businesses, restaurants, and a multitude of leisure activities.

Beautiful home away from home. Perfect walking distance to the Stampede grounds which was what myself and my travel companions were looking for. Kathy and Glenn were always just a phone call away if needed and responded quickly.
Perfectly clean upon arrival with tea, coffee and other helpful amenities in the kitchen. Beds were divinely comfortable, nice size bathtub too.
All was exactly as described, the home is even nicer than photographed.
Would (and have) highly recommended to others, and will hopefully be able to stay here again next year for these dates.
Thank you Glenn and Kathy for the best vacation home we could have ever asked for.

Our family had the pleasure of renting this home for a week while our home was under renovations. The owner was personable and the details of renting were without complication. The home itself is a work of love. This home is a historic home that could be featured in a "House and Home" magazine. The appliances, dishes, and decorations are all tastefully done. The front balcony was our favorite spot to sit and watch the sun go down. We explored the neighbourhood and found many interesting places to enjoy all detailed in our welcome note. Our family of four really appreciated the details that we found in this home. We have rented homes found on VRBO in Canada, the USA and Europe, no home has come close to Madison House! We were very happy we chose your home, thank you for creating such a lovely space for visitors!

Perfection!

This house is full of character and comfort. It has been expertly furnished and decorated for style and functionality. You feel at ease as soon as you walk in the front door. I feel that no review can really do this place justice, it is gorgeous! The neighbourhood is great as well, close to downtown and Inglewood. Head to the Hose and Hound down the street for a delicious meal, that is, if you can pull yourself away from the wonderful surroundings the house provides.

The owner is very easy going and professional. After emailing back and forth a few time I knew that the house was cared for.

You won't regret your stay here.

The four of us had an excellent stay. The house was amazing and the beds super comfortable. The rental process was very easy. The neighborhood of Inglewood is super cute with boutiques and cafes within walking distance on 9th Avenue.

If by chance you're in town for the Calgary Stampede, or setting up shop to see the mountains, or head east to the Tyrell museum. This property is close to all the major artery's in the city. There are numerous bike paths and running paths just a stone's throw from the property that can take you past the Calgary zoo, or through/around the downtown core.

Or if you're looking for something a bit more relaxing go for a stroll in Inglewood. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars to enjoy a day walking through the community.
