A truly green adobe house built before green was in vogue. It is 6000' above sea level which provides 4 gentle seasons. The location on the south edge of the city limits provides convenient access to all the amenities of the town and the isolation of quiet, country living. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home has been recently updated from a family home to a rental with a unique and eclectic southwestern flavour. The master bedroom is extremely large, has two queen beds, a sofa and a separate library. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The large living room has two seating areas and includes a queen sleeper sofa. The dining room is set to seat 8 people but could accommodate more. A separate breakfast area is adjacent to the well-furnished kitchen. The very private setting includes two outdoor seating areas with views on a clear day of mountain peaks in Mexico.

This is first built of 4 family homes that are on this property. Brothers-in-law David and Rick did the majority of the construction in the early years and oversaw the recent updating. Sisters-in-law Lee and Alice oversaw the redecoration and traveler-friendly amenities.
This is a large 2800 square foot home. While it can sleep 4-6 people, there are enough separate areas to find alone time. The passive solar adobe features of this home make it a truly green experience. With an altitude of 6000', the climate is moderated to 4 gentle seasons. No unbearable summer heat and no extreme winters.
Quiet, country living close to town. The family property of over 125 acres allows guests to take enjoyable walks (or easy hikes) to observe the wildlife, enjoy birding, or fabulous stargazing.
