This house is the perfect place to get away from it all. Just sitting on the porch in a rocking chair enjoying the view or sitting in the hot tub watching a spectacular sunset, this is the place to be. Fully equipped home has everything you need to enjoy a weekend, week or month for your perfect vacation. 2bdrms/2bath, both bedrooms have queen beds, flat screen TVs in each bedroom, with private entrances to covered porches leading out onto a large open deck with a 4 person hot tub, rocking chairs, bistro set and gas grill for your outdoor cooking. Kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator w/ ice maker, dishwasher, microwave,coffeemaker and everything you need to enjoy a great meal or just a cup of coffee . Great room has a stone fireplace, 42' flat screen TV with satellite, DVD player with a library of DVDs, wireless internet and landline phone for your convenience. Bathrooms are nice and spacious,one bathroom has a standup shower with double pedestal sinks, and the other has a tub/shower combination with a single vanity.This home was designed for a couple or couples to have the perfect amount of space to spend together or a little private time alone. There are hiking trails with beautiful scenery that has benchs for sitting along the way and a perfect little waterfall at the end that will make the walk worth while, all within 5 minutes of this house. New 15 acre recreational lake in the community to open in 2013. This beautiful home is in the Grandview Peaks gated community that provides you privacy and security when away from home.

This home is a dream come true for our little family, we looked for years for the perfect spot to build a little piece of heaven in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Grandview Peaks community gives us the views that provides peace of mind when we want to get away from the day to day world of of very busy life. When we pull into the gates and top the mountain your stress of everyday life just melts away. We are going to share this little piece of heaven with you, please enjoy it and take care of it so we all will have it to enjoy for the years to come. This home and community gives you the privacy and comfort for a wonderful vacation. It has all the amenties that you could imagine to make memories for a life time. If you're on your honeymoon or wanting to take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, or just anything in between that you would come to the mountains, for you can find it here. This home sits on 3 1/2 acres of beauty and peace. Whether I am sitting in a rocking chair reading my favorite book or in the hot tub relaxing looking at the stars, I can clear my head and enjoy the treasure we have been given. That is why people for years have been coming to these mountains for as long as history goes back, the Blue Ridge Mountains gives you a truly joyful feeling of what life should be.

Previous reviews enhanced our decision to reserve this property and we were not disappointed. The décor added to the enjoyment of the cabin, and views!! It was all we anticipated and more. The hot tub, WIFI, gas fire logs, what more could you ask. AND, it was hard to leave. The owners were super. We liked the location and all the different directions we could venture out to. Can just imagine being there in the fall! Private and very secure.

Do not second guess this home. It is more beautiful than the pictures. The home continues to please as the days go on, from the cookware to the dishes to the hot tub to the views! Make sure you pick up your staples at the Food Lion before you head to the house and you wont have to leave the gated community the whole time you're there. They have hiking and a fishing pond, or you can just walk around the developement. The only negative feedback I can provide is that you won't want to leave when your vacation is over. Oh, and the owners are awesome!! We will be back next year if this home is still offered for rent.

Wonderful place to stay!

Cabin was beautiful! Nicely decorated with a comfortable feel throughout the house. Perfect for us, 2 couples. We had our own sides of the cabin and spent most of our time in the open living area by the fire place. Hot tub was amazing at night when the temps dropped. Feels like you are away from it all. Sugar, Beech and other Ski options not too far of a drive. The views from the cabin are unbelievable! Saw a shooting star on a clear night! Pictures don't do it justice! Must see in person. We will be back next year!

My stay was absolutely wonderful. The view is unbelievable and the cabin is simply georgeous. So neat, clean and relaxing. Between the HI DEF TV and the surrond sound, I watched sports, cooked on the grill and sat in the hot tub like I owned the place. Its so peaceful but close enough to some major attractions in case I wanted to get out and explore. They are putting in a beautiful lake that will definitely be great addition to an already awesome place. Im looking on the calender now in order to book another weekend. Thanks Guys!!!!!

Upon arrival at the cabin, we had to stand outside and marvel the beauty all around us. The cabin is picture perfect from the outside. Once we opened the door and stepped inside, I couldn't believe how beautiful the cabin was decorated. It was absolutely perfect. Everything I saw on the listing is how the cabin looked only more beautiful. The cabin was very clean and maintained. Everything we needed to cook with was there, the kitchen and actually the whole cabin has all the comforts of home and then some. I would recommend this cabin rental to everyone as you won't be disappointed. If I am ever fortunate enough to own a cabin, it would be one just like this one. The owners were very friendly and if you need anything, all you have to do is call. It is located in a beautiful area with beautiful views. Make sure you ride around the area as it is gorgeous. Thank you for letting us share your home. It is something we will never forget. PS - make sure you bring your camera as there are so many pictures to take!
