'STEINHATCHEE SMILES'

Close to the new Public Boat Ramp,

Welcome to 'Steinhatchee Smiles'. Our cottage sleeps up to 6 people. This quiet 1/2 acre lightly wooded property close to the river,has privacy and plenty of room for your vehicles and trailer turnaround.

An outdoor patio with charcoal grill, picnic table and lounge chairs is perfect for cooking your 'catch' or (on a bad day) hamburgers and relaxing. The screened porch is great for the quiet of the day, having your early morning cup of coffee or enjoying watching the 'small' wildlife in the evening.

The master bedroom with a king sized bed is partitioned for privacy and there is a comfortable Queen size sofa bed in the Florida room. We also 2 Intex twin raised mattress air beds .

The cable T V/ DVD player in the living room will entertain guests or children while you are cooking your 'catch' in the fully equipped kitchen. A clothes washer and drier are available for your convenience as well as a retractable outdoor clothesline for drying beach towels and wet bathing suits.

Did we mention the screened-in fish cleaning station with 2 cleaning areas (for those BIG catches) with room for a cooler for a couple of frosty beer while you clean your catch.

We appreciate our guests honoring our No Pets and No Smoking policies. Should you choose to smoke, there are outside areas available for you.

Our reasonably priced rates are per night or weekly with a two night minimum stay and a 2 week maximum stay. There will be a cleaning fee also for the nice lady who keeps our cottage so well cared for.

Captain and Mrs South, long time South Florida residents, have enjoyed visiting the lovely Steinhatchee area for the past 20 years and bought this property to visit every chance we get.

What makes this cottage unique

Per Captain Stu, one of the unique benefits of this property is the 2 station screened in fish/scallop cleaning enclosure with room for his beer cooler. Per Mrs Stu, a unique benefit is the simplicity of the cottage and the peaceful screened porch in the evening.

Peace and Tranquility in a lovely semi wooded location close to boat ramp, shopping and marinas.

Great Location

We stayed with our grandson and granddaughter and the accommodations were great. We loved the privacy for each child and ourselves. The cottage was completely equipped. Great holiday
