Private and lovely apartment

We stayed at this apartment for 4 days. At first, we were very amazed by the panoramic beach views (just like a wallpaper lol) and the owner is a very nice person, very helpful and friendly; shows us around, how to get to all the facilities and the beach. We can tell that it's an old but renovated apartment, and I believe the owner has done a very wonderful job, but still we can find some spot missed such as: the doors' locks in some rooms and some kitchen appliances. When we came, the laundry was still running (drying the sheets and towels) and the wardrobe inside the main bedroom are actually a bit messy, but the owner apologized and we were totally understand since it's a very high season (Christmas). I believed if it's on low season, the apartment would be all ready and cleaned perfectly on the day we came. I didn't say it's dirty, but it's just not perfectly clean.
The rooms were good and the balconies made it perfect!
The beach is perfect, it's very nice and quiet, since I just found out that it's a private beach *no wonder*, but it's perfect for us, since we've been to South Beach which was crazy. The owner provided us with beach towels, some beach toys, and chairs. Perfect!
This apartment is located in North Beach, which takes time to drive down to South Beach. But there's grocery nearby, about 5 min drives and Bal Harbor was just close by too (a small shopping mall). We went up to Aventura Mall, a bigger mall, nice, but be very careful to choose what time to go back to the apartment, because we were like 2 hours and 30 minutes just to get back with all the traffic. Crazy.
Overall, our stay in this apartment was great! We loved it, we loved the apartment, the beach and the surrounding area. I said this because in 2009, we stayed in South Beach during low season, and the beach was still packed with people. So yeah, if we are looking for a quiet place to stay and area, this apartment is a perfect choice. But if we focused on night life and shopping stores, this doesn't quite fit :)
