Photos and Description of the Oceanside vacation bungalow rental

Great location, 2 short blocks to the beach yet secluded and quiet in the North redevelopment area. The home is the upstairs unit of a triplex in which all units are owned by me. This 2 bedroom plus large loft, 2 bath home sleeps 8 comfortably. Open floor plan with everything you will need for your getaway.

Enjoy a glass of wine on your private rooftop deck or have a barbecue on the front patio and enjoy a fire around the patio table. This is a great family unit.

Three block walk to the pier or the downtown area for great restaurants or to catch the coaster to downtown San Diego and other local beach communities in between.

The harbor with fine restaurants is a short walk up the bike path. Enjoy live music or rent a stand up paddle board.

San Diego has lots to offer including LEGOLAND, Wild Animal Park, Del Mar Race Track, La Jolla Playhouse, Sea World, Old Town, Gas Lamp District, Petco Park, San Diego Zoo, and the Balboa Park Museums, casinos and wine country. But Oceanside has the best and biggest sand beaches.

Need more space? You can also rent the the one bedroom downstairs unit. Feel free to inquire.

About Tricia Hopper

I am a writer and I enjoy the active life, including cycling and tennis. I grew up at the beach and thoroughly love the lifestyle. I have four kids and all of them still live near and enjoy the ocean.

Glenn, the special man in my life, turned me on to all of the great things here in San Diego. I fell in love with this properties unique character, the fact that I own all 3 units and therefore I am not restricted by HOA's or other large complex rules and regulations. I can go the extra mile to make you feel like it is your home away from home, because it will also be my home away from home. Also, there is great surf here in the summer.

Location! Location! Location! Only two blocks from the beach in North Oceanside where all of the surroundings homes are relatively new and the neighborhood is delightful.

Our family loved our week plus stay in your lovely Oceanside home. It was thoroughly clean and freshly painted, inside and out! The living room furniture was super comfy and the beds were cozy. We loved the openness that the home had to offer, from the floor plan to all of the windows and doors which allowed the cool morning and evening ocean breeze to flow through the home. I especially enjoyed the shared outdoor area in the front of the house. The bright flowering plants, soothing water feature and picnic like table nestled behind the stairs made the area like a mini retreat. Tricia, our stay was wonderful, thank you!!

Rental is spacious with all the comforts of home. Close to everything Oceanside has to offer train station, movie theatre, pier, beach, restaurants and shopping all in walking distance. Owner was there to welcome us and answer any questions we had. My family and I had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning!

My family (including grandparents) ages ranging from 8 - 69 had a wonderful time! There was plenty of room for the nine of us. All we needed to bring was our basic personal items. The walk to the peir, beach and restaurants were close and delightful. As was our host Tricia, she made it for a delightful time. She was true to her word and photos. We ate at the Harbor cafe and Ty's burger house. We look forward to returning, next time we are going to have to ride the nearby train. It was an easy drive to Sea World, Old Town and Knott's Berry Farm.
