A new, modern apartment, tastefully furnished with fully fitted kitchen, bedrooms with built in wardrobes, also with Sky TV and DVD, and adjoining balcony.

This ideal location in Cala de Finestrat is close to the beach, bars restaurants etc, in fact you have your own tapas bar directly under the apartment block, with a very friendly owner. (no loud music)!

The bus stop with a regular service to Poniente, Levante and other destinations is a few minutes walk away.

The complex has its own communal swimming pool, tennis courts and children's play area.

Aircon will be fitted in May 2010.

The Finestrat area has many local shops, bars and restaurants with the large shopping complex of La Marina with many designer shops are set on the outskirts of the resort. Cala de Finestrat is a small and relatively new beach resort located in the next bay from the Ponient Beach.

You will find many bars in the area offer some form of entertainment. La Cala has a beautiful sandy beach, the beach is blue flag and ideal for families with young children as the sand gently slopes into the sea. Life guards are always on hand during the summer months and the clear water is fantastic for swimming, snorkeling, you can even hire pedalos. Many bars and restaurants are nestled around the beach within a few paces which is ideal if you want to relax with a drink whilst keeping a close eye on the children playing in the sand.

The Spanish resort of Cala de Finestrat is located a mere 3 kms south from the lively resort of Benidorm. Finestrat though offers clients a more peaceful resort with more than enough to do which is ideal for families but still within easy reach of Benidorm's many attractions. The resort of Cala De Finestrat has a beautiful sandy beach which is ideal for families with young children wanting a more relaxing holiday. Finestrat still retains its Spanish atmosphere and offers some excellent sea food restaurants, along with many outdoor bars and cafes. There is a large shopping centre on the outskirts of the resort called La Marina with many designer shops along with restaurants, Cinema & Bowling.

La Cala is located 3 km away from Terra Mitica theme park where both small children and the adrenaline junkies will have a fantastic time. In Benidorm you will also find Mundomar with Dolphins, Seal & Parrot shows, Aqualandia water slide complex & Terra Nature nature park all within easy reach.

We've just returned from a week in this fabulous apartment where everything was exactly as described. Hygiene standards were absolutely superb and there really was everything that we needed provided (the washing machine was a godsend).The location is ideal for the beach and local bars and also in easy reach of Carrefour for the self catering essentials.
If you're looking for a relaxing holiday in a nice area with a professional company looking after your needs I would most definitely reccomend this apartment and company.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

La Cala - Finistraat

Just recently back from our family summer holiday in La Cala. The apartment was first class, modern and airy, offering very secure environment for our 2yr old son due to the remote/door entry system. There was also a ‘baby’ pool and adventure area within the complex and in close proximity to the pool area. The only criticism on safety was the installation of Sky dish which prevented the window closing on the balcony, therefore that was a no go area and we ensured the patio was always locked. The apartment offered 2.5hrs of air-conditioning for €1 which was a luxury to have as we had very good weather during our stay.

Having 2 older children (teenagers), we found the Sky tv and DVD with a selection of movies very helpful and kept them entertained in the later evening when our youngest son went to bed.

Joan had arranged our taxi transfers from the airport. It cost €85 each way for 5 passengers as taxi’s will only take 4, this went very smoothly and a driver collected us from Alicante Airport as promised and we had a coach to ourselves! Joan also left details of a keyholder if we found any fault with the apartment. Steve was extremely helpful and liaised with taxi/airport staff when we accidently left our buggy at the airport. Kindly he purchased us a brand new one to use until ours was delivered and stated it would be helpful for other families renting the accommodation.

The apartment is situated at the top of a gentle bank (approx 10mins slow walk) down to the beach and restaurants. There is a regular bus service for €1.20 which takes you into the heart of Benidorm and a taxi is approx €10 and 20mins drive.

We found the restaurants exceptional in La Cala, it’s a very safe area for children as the road is closed during peak season and the traffic free area allowed them the freedom to run from the restaurant to the beachside under our watchful eye as restaurant tables are set out on the pavements. Again the only criticism we could find was that there wasn’t a lot to do for older kids other than pool or 20mins internet for €1.

We would however recommend the apartment and resort to either couples or families with young children. A very enjoyable stay.

Our second holiday enjoyed here in finestrat and another beautiful apartment supplied by Joan and her team.Given the quality of the accommadation and the private airport transfers provided this was really great value for money .Thanks again
