FAMILY FRIENDLY HOME ON 3 ACRES FOR GATHERINGS: RVS, TENTS, BOATS

Bear Lake House Rental Photos and Description

Winter:

Snowmobile 10 minutes to Paris Canyon trail head, close to Greys River snowmobile area in Wyoming through Smith's for Trailhead

For winter fun, enjoy sledding on the nearby hills, have an outdoor fire and make snowmen.

13 minutes from the best beaches on Bear Lake with more sand and less reeds: North Beach State Park. And our favorite- Bear Lake Hot Springs- where you can drive your car or 4 wheeler on the beach.

We love that we can go to the hustle and bustle of the beach but then can get away from it now at night with our get-a-way in quiet Dingle.

My Bear Lake Vacation home sleeps up to 19 to 25 people in the beds and hide a bed couches depending on how you share queen and full size beds. There is plenty of room for camping in tents or R.V.s . With the firepit and 3 picnic tables, the site makes a great place for family gatherings.

Professionally Renovated home.. The home is updated all new plumbing, heat, electricity, sheet rock, cabinets. Home features: jetted tubs, beautiful wood trim and doors, tile and carpet, filtered softened well water. There is a separate 19X17 1 room bunkhouse/playroom (for the noisy relatives ). 3 flat acres with plenty of room for R.V.s, trailers, and tents. Sorry no sewer hookups for R.V.s

Trees and porch for shade.

A perfect place for family reunions large and small

A most peaceful honeymoon getaway

Headquarters for your Bear Lake adventures

Lots of activities close by

Basket of sand toys for the children available to take to the beach

towels, blankets, fully furnished kitchen to keep you from packing everything and feeling like you are moving. While they are usually there, we do not guarantee that toilet paper, paper towels, spices, and dish or personal soaps will be fully stocked.

Dingle has long had a place in my heart. Entering Dingle from Bear Lake, going to Montpelier, many years ago, I saw an old house for sale that had lots of character and just looked like it could tell the history of this place. We had not been married long and this was our first trip to Bear Lake together. As we traveled through this quaint town of Dingle, I saw more houses that had character and I realized Dingle is a place I could settle down in.

We were still busy with school and work in the Cache Valley area and did not pursue buying the old house. Someone did and it has now been renovated and looks even more beautiful. As the years went by, all our trips to Bear Lake (several throughout the Summer), we would drive through Dingle. Usually we are on our way to Montpelier to go shopping for groceries but we would take it slow through Dingle and soak in the peaceful setting of this western town. We realized we had fallen in love with Dingle. The name already sounds so delicious.

For years we kept an eye on real estate in this town to be able to purchase a place because I knew I wanted to own a piece of Dingle. Through the years, from this first time driving through Dingle to finally purchasing a home away from home, we added seven children to our family. We usually camped somewhere around Bear Lake. We either brought a tent or pulled a trailer and it worked well but was a lot of work to drag all our supplies around cramped in a car. I kept looking for a place we could rent that is family friendly and affordable but came up empty.

During the Winter months, when my love for Dingle would call, we would stay in a motel in Montpelier for a night or two. With as many people as we are, we soon needed two motel rooms and the prices became not affordable because we still would need to eat out lacking a kitchen in the motel.

That is when our love for Dingle and our desire to offer an affordable vacation spot for families merged. We started looking for a place where a family could enjoy quality time together, relax, tell stories, sit around the camp fire, go on a hike, soak in the sun at the beach, read a book together, make memories. My Bear Lake Vacation home is the result. We looked for years because it had to be family friendly, meaning child friendly. From experience I know it is not fun renting a vacation home and worrying about decorations that a two year old carries around or a glass coffee table that a four year old wants to climb on and use as his boat, and so on. My Bear Lake Vacation home is child friendly. We love families and we love children.

We hope you will enjoy your stay at My Bear Lake Vacation home in a town that is hardly a spot on the map. I think you too might be in love with Dingle after some family bonding time in this perfect spot.

This home is what we were looking for with its large yard, mature trees, firepit, seperate bunkhouse/playroom, and beautiful renovations inside with wood, tile, carpet, jetted tubs with filtered soft well water..

We stayed in the home in Dingle in July. The grounds are lovely. My two favorite memories of our trip are every morning and evening we would eat on the back porch and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the many animal sounds we could hear. My daughters love to cook so we enjoyed good food, good company and very restful surroundings. We called it our "Paris Cafe", as Paris, Idaho is just a few miles away. The second night we were there we built a big fire in the fire pit. My two grandchildren, 2 and 9 years loved it. We cooked hot dogs and samores. That night there was lighting in the distance so we had our very own "fireworks". A very enjoyable 4 days.

This place was amazing!! Went with my whole family.
Very close to Bear Lake. Pictures were exactly as shown. Owner was wonderful to work with & answered all my questions in a timely manner. The town was very quiet & was great to go to after a full day @ the crowded beach. Lots of activities @ the house were provided. Looking forward to our next stay here. Can't say enough good things about this property!

Everything was great

Hi Kurt
We had a wonderful time. Everything was great and we had a lot of fun. The house, neighbors, and church were great too. We may be doing this again or maybe my inlaws who had some interest in larger accommodations might be scheduling for next year. Cashe was friendly and accomodating if we had needs, but really every need was met

We found a clean, up todate home, which we quickly made it our home. The children loved the room outside to run around and play. The places to see were near by. Everyday was filled with exploring. We readily recommend to anyone.
