About Karla Schultz

My siblings and I have taken the responsibility of converting a treasured family vacation home into a vacation rental. I am the primary contact and have a background in teaching Spanish. Hablo espanol. Nuestra casa es su casa! My brother is a graduate of CU and a commercial real estate consultant. We both reside in Oregon. Our older sister lives in Tacoma, WA.

Karla Schultz purchased this townhome in 1990

Why Karla Schultz chose Aspen

We first vacationed in Aspen with family as kids. At the time we lived in SoCal. What a getaway this slice of paradise provided for us starting in the late 1970's! In 1990, our father purchased this home so that we could have a place to come to year after year. It became a sanctuary for our friends and family. And for the first time, we look forward to sharing it with you. The home is filled with fine Western Art collected over the years.

What makes this townhome unique

Other special features include:

* Views of world renowned Aspen Mountain

* Free Shuttle stop on street adjoining property

* Convenient to grocery store, shopping, parks, hiking and biking trails, fishing, restaurants, museums, concert and theater venues.

Perfect Aspen vacation home

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. The bus system to the ski resorts were very convenient and prompt. Being able to walk into downtown Aspen in a matter of minutes was a bonus. Will definitely go back to Aspen and stay at this gem of a home again.

Plenty of room for 6 people

  • 5 of 5

It was our first time in Aspen and this town house was the perfect place to stay. We stayed here for 10 nights during the winter x games, the home had so much space for all 6 of us to sprawl around. The rooms were spacious - note that the master bedroom view is spectacular but during our stay the blinds were removed so bring your sleeping masks!

Overall our stay was excellent - I would highly recommend this home for a group of 6.

Would stay again

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriends and I had a great time here. Home is lovely and you can tell the owners spared no expensive in decorating. Kitchen had everything you would need; linens were plentiful; beds were comfortable. Home is right on the bus line or you can walk into town. Great trail across the street. The owner was very responsive when a little problem arose and responded within 10 minutes. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it.

Great place and great owners

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with my family over the New Year's weekend and this place was convenient, clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive and great to work with, which unfortunately is not always the case. I highly recommend this place and will definitely check this place first on my next visit to Aspen.

Map

Our home is located a short walk from the Jerome Hotel and the center of the City of Aspen. Between the two is a grocery store, hardware store, restaurants, post office, and bicycle and ski rental shops. Also, the beautiful Rio Grande Park with the Roaring Fork River running through it. The inspiring and newly developed John Denver Sanctuary, Aspen Art Museum and Live Theater Tent are also within a short walk. The immediate area is surrounded by fantastic hiking and biking trails. The Hunter Creek Trail head is across the street from our home. And a stop for the FREE shuttle makes getting around town or to the slopes hassle free.
