Standing at the top of the field, this new self catering holiday cottage is detached, stone-built, and commands spectacular views over the surrounding Lancashire countryside.This cottage is ETC 5* inspected annually, mobility 1 assessed. It is a comfortable, cosy, luxury cottage with underfloor heating and an AGA stove. A large open plan living / dining area, incorporating a well-equipped designer kitchen, will enable guests to enjoy each other's company whilst dinner is prepared. Sky television is provided. On the ground floor are two spacious bedrooms. The first is a double bedroom with an en-suite bath and shower. The second is a twin bedroom with a walk-in shower. There is also a separate cloakroom / laundry room with wash basin, toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer. A staircase from the lounge area leads up to an additional attractive bedroom on the first floor. Outdoor space is provided by a private rear garden, with garden furniture and woodland views.

Barnacre Cottages near Garstang are five star in every way.Facilities are excellent & everything from top quality well designed kitchens to comfortable leather furniture has been selected with guests' complete comfort in mind.
The owners Terry & Sue go out of their way to make sure that everything is just perfect and the standard of cleanliness is beyond reproach.
Whether in summer, when patio furniture is provided ,or in winter with blazing log fires Barnacre is the ideal location for anyone who wants to stay in luxury surroundings.
There is a children's play area & there are walks galore from the door of your cottage and all of this set in a quite delightful rural setting in Lancashire.
Good shopping is available in Manchester (Trafford Centre) & trips can be made to Lytham St.Annes, Blackpool, Fleetwood & even the Lake District is less than an hour away.
There is a wide variety of restaurants within reasonable travelling distance & for those who prefer to dine in there is a quite excellent farm shop at Barton Grange only 15 minutes away.
We have stayed at Barnacre on several occasions & rate it as one of the best self catering establishments in the UK.
Attention to detail,warmth of welcome & delightful owners who really care about their guests' enjoyment all contribute to the perfect holiday self catering experience.
Try it once & we promise you-you'll be well & truly hooked.
If only all self catering establishments were of this quality how marvellous would be the image of tourism in the UK.
