Photos and Description of the Wellfleet vacation cottage rental

Rustic 2 Bedroom; 1 bathroom cottage on large lot right on Gull Pond ( fresh water pond ) with private sandy beach and screen porch. We have 2 cottages, side by side, if you are a larger family you can accommodate up to 8 people. Or, if you would like to vacation with friends but prefer to have your own kitchen and sleeping quarters this is perfect - especially with familys with kids of differing ages.
About Charles Campbell

Our very large family (11 siblings) has had the privilege of vacationing on Gull Pond in these cottages and the 'house up the hill' since we were born. We all learned how to swim, sail, and appreciate nature and we now are now fortunate to have 3 generations of little and big ones enjoying the pond, the fresh water swimming, sailing and paddleing, sand castle building and star gazing. With life being so busy for all, we have several weeks each year we can open these cottages and this ideal spot for others to enjoy.

Why Charles Campbell chose Wellfleet

The 'kettle' ponds on Cape Cod are unique, but Gull Pond and the connected ponds are especially unique because there are four pond connected by sluices and the herring river which runs from Gull Pond all the way to the cove in Wellfleet habor. You can sail, canoe, kayak, fish, and hunt for turtles in all four ponds. And at night when watching for shooting stars you can hear the waves at the ocean not far off.

What makes this cottage unique

One of the very few rental sites in Wellfleet where the cottage is located truly on the beach. You can sit on the porch while the kids play on the beach and when its nap time you can sit on the beach while the kids sleep. this is a great location for an extended family because Gramps and Granny can have their own abode but with the grand kids right next door.

Wellfleet, Cape Cod is one of the most desirable towns on all the Cape, Wellfleet is known for its pristine sandy beaches, and Gull and Pond Cottages are right on the beach at Gull Pond, a fresh water kettle Pond. The cottages are just a mile from Newcomb Hollow Beach, one of the most gorgeous long sandy ocean surge beaches on the eastern seaboard. Just 2 miles from the gorgeous and park protected lands on the Bayside of Wellfleet Harbour, including Great Island. The area abounds with shops, galleries, nature trails, and beaches and more beaches including and especially the one that is on your doorstep at our little cottages on Gull Pond.
