Saranac Lake Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Waterfront Log Home Facing the High Peaks - Great Fishing!
'Camp Logjam' is an Adirondack-furnished, 3,600 square foot contemporary Log home. Built in 1992 and renovated in 2010 (new wood floor throughout the main floor with radiant heat, new bathrooms on the main floor), Logjam sits on just under 1 acre of waterfront property with 220 feet of frontage on 860-acre Oseetah Lake, facing the Northern Adirondack Peaks (Ampersand, Nippletop, Scarface, etc.). It is located 1.3 miles from the railroad tracks just off of Pendergast Way.
With a 30-foot dock for those with their own boat or those who rent one in town and bring it to the dock, and a fire pit framed by 100-foot pine trees and views of the High Peaks, Logjam is a warm, comforting retreat during any season. Use one of the 2 available kayaks (one of which is a Hobie Cat tandem kayak which can be pedaled or paddled), the canoe, or the row boat. On land, enjoy the adult Trek mountain bike or one of the many kid's bikes as well.
Although private, Logjam is only an 8-mile drive to the center of Lake Placid (shopping, movies, restaurants, ice skating), or a 5-mile drive to Saranac Lake (shopping, bowling, restaurants).
Several golf courses are within a 10-mile radius of Logjam, and for world-class downhill skiing, Whiteface Mountain is 19 miles away.

About Jeffrey P. Siegel or Lorraine Siegel
Originally from Northern NJ and Upstate NY, my oil-painter wife and I, along with our 4 boys and 2 Labradors, have created 8 years of great memories at Camp Logjam. We moved to near Aspen, CO in 2011 and continue to visit family and friends back in NY State
Jeffrey P. Siegel or Lorraine Siegel purchased this cabin in 2004
Why Jeffrey P. Siegel or Lorraine Siegel chose Saranac Lake
My family camped, rented motel rooms, rented homes in the Adirondacks (including the house next door!), and fell in love with the combination of the serenity and tranquility of the Adirondacks, along with Camp Logjam's proximity to Lake Placid and Saranac Lake
What makes this cabin unique
We have water-skied on Oseetah Lake, and played ice hockey on it! We have ice fished on Oseetah, and have cross-country skied on it. We have taken an ATV across the frozen lake to the wilderness beyond, and a snowmobile as well. And then gone for the world's greatest pizza in Saranac Lake (Owl's Nest Pizzeria) or a movie at the old Lake Placid theater.
