Our well appointed kitchen is equipped with numerous small appliances, cutlery, linen, dishes, wine glasses and other items to enhance your stay. The kitchen allows for convenient outside dining , cocktails, and relaxation.
Hardwood floors throughout the house provide a healthy dust free environment.
Our gardens are exceptional, large flower beds, Magnolia trees, manicured lawns. Our viewing bench and outside patio sitting area offers an excellent spot for morning coffee.
Our expansive master bedroom features a queen size bed, complete with ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. The house comfortably sleeps 6 with 2 queen size beds, and 2 twin size beds. All bedding is of exceptional quality thus ensuring a good nights sleep.
This home is 10/15 minutes from the downtown core, University of British Columbia, numerous Beaches, the Vancouver airport, 5 golf courses, award winning restaurants, shopping, numerous Olympic Venues and the fabulous Stanley Park.

We love the neighbourhood which is why we built our own home right next door. The streets are quiet, tree lined, and in the Spring bloom with vibrant pink Cherry blossoms. Public transportation is within minutes of the house, plus Vancouver is now renowned as a 'Bike' friendly city with designated bike lanes that take you everywhere.

Getting around town is a breeze in this perfectly located condo. We walked to restaurants, multiple shops and down to the sea wall. It's easy to catch the aqua bus from the park down at the water and that will take you over to Granville Island. The neighborhood is quiet and the condo is well appointed. The building is secure and parking is in the garage below. You can leave the windows open for the fresh night air or use one of the fans provided. Over all this is a great spot to start your adventures in Vancouver.
My stay at the Dunbar was the first time that I have used VRBO and I was a bit nervous. However, Brian and Kelly were able to promptly answer any of my questions, either by phone or email. They were very friendly and easy to work with. The location was very easy to find and is just a short drive to the beach or downtown. I was very happy that the pictures that are shared on VRBO are EXACTLY what the property looks like. The neighbourhood is quiet, we had all the comforts of home and the property is beautifully landscaped. I would highly recommend the Dunbar to anyone that is looking for a place to stay close to Downtown or in the University area.
The location of this property is great, not far from downtown, but a safe quiet area with very little surround noise. It was really like a home from home, with plenty of crockery/cutlery for a large group, facilities like the washer and dryer were provided with soap powder and softener, plenty of towels - really everything you could need. Close to local parks and beaches for days when you just want to chill out. Free parking. Brian made himself available for all questions and has lots of local knowledge. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to family and friends.
The only negative aspect I would mention (and it is very minor) is that there are stairs (not too many, but they are made of wood) into the lounge area from the front door, and down to the bedrooms below, which, if you had any mobility issues, these may be a concern.
My sisters and I came to Vancouver for a week to attend a family wedding. We wanted to be in a home rather than a hotel, so that we could spend more time together. Brian and Kelly's house was beyond our expectations (my family is very selective about accommodation). This is a very high end, lovely home and is exceptionally well maintained. It was wonderful to be in a beautiful neighborhood and home, and spend time together as a family around the kitchen table. The garden is lovely and we used the BBQ to grill some delicious local salmon (kitchen had all the utensils needed). If only all vacation homes were like this one.....Thank you, Brian and Kelly.
The house is in excellent condition. It is a beautiful house and the yard is gorgeous. The details are what makes this house. Every detail has been thought off. All details like linen, towels, kitchenware are of the highest quality and in great shape. There was nothing missing. The owners, Brian and Kelly, inquired to see if anything was missing. They are very friendly and helpful. Great people. The location is amazing. Close walk to wonderful parks, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, the beach, grocery, etc. We absolutely love this area. This area is by far the best in Vancouver in my opinion. This has been one of the best vacations ever. Would HIGHLY recommend this property. We have stayed at other properties and this one has been the cleanest and nicest by far. I am very picky about cleanliness and I can say that this house is of a luxury hotel standard but only with a lot more room, a great kitchen and a lovely and quiet location. We would love to come back here.
We are a chilean family, my wife and my children. We have lived here during around six months (spring, summer and autumn seasons), even will be here two winter month (february 2014). Our experience has been amazing and very cozy in a modern and excellent house, high standard of quality. Brian and Kelly have been very kind and friendly people. Location of the house is very useful and strategical because you can take buses easy toward to downtown and you have many stores nearby (4 or 5 blocks). The neighborhood is very quiet and near UBC (University of BC)...and excellent place to do anything (walk, run, etc) and so safe and clean. Thank you so much Brian and Kelly.
