This unique oceanfront home in Seal Rock offers breathtaking views from almost every room! There is a private staircase that leads you down to the sand with a new vista from each landing!

The home features three bedrooms that are all spacious and inviting. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom features a queen as well and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed on bottom and a twin on top. There is also a full futon in the upstairs bedroom, bringing total guests allowed up to nine, however three to four of the guests should be children or young adults.

The main level of the home was recently updated and the open floor plan makes it a great place for family gatherings. The main living room features a cozy gas fireplace and large windows facing the ocean so it is a great place rain or shine, as you can storm-watch during the rainy season and watch a beautiful sunset during the summer or fall. The kitchen is tastefully appointed and there is a nice dining table that expands to create seating for eight.

The best feature of the home is undoubtedly the amazing private stairwell down to the beach that leads off the deck. The stairwell features two benches along the way that make the perfect romantic location for watching the sun dip into the sea! The beach below is a long stretch of sandy beach that ends in a small wetlands area as you approach the house. It is very quiet beach so it is an excellent place for discovering shells and sand dollars.

Seal Rock is a quaint yet interesting town with some local artisans and restaurants. If you are looking for a little more action, Newport is just a short 10-15 minute drive away!

We stayed with our two children and another couple (and their two dogs.) The house was perfectly designed for us to all have our own spaces. We didn't even mind the steps to the beach, but our knees are still young.

A Perfect Week

We loved, loved, loved the location, modern kitchen, view from all the great windows, charm, jetted tub and the super private location. It was perfect for our family of two grown daughters, their guys, two grandchildren and the old folks. Loved our little bedroom on the main floor with our balcony and great view. Even with the early March weather we enjoyed opening the door a bit so we could hear the sounds of the sea at night. There were also quite a chorus of frogs, which we found unique to the coast. Even the little town of Seal Rock had enough interesting shops that we found something at each shop to take home with us. House was clean, beds were comfortable, and being with our family in such a lovely spot made it an incredible place to spend a week for our 35th anniversary.

Great family trip to the Seadrifter. The home was very well appointed and served our family with two boys (9 and 7) perfectly. Most enjoyed were the wonderful picture windows, quick beach access, comfortable linens, and cleanliness of the home. The main floor bedroom/bathroom layout was ideal for us. Loved the openness of the beach in this area. Walked and explored for hours. Certainly appreciated Vacasa Rentals offer for the "late check-out". We've rented all over Oregon and have never had that option. Welcomed gesture.

Top Notch Oceanfront Rental

This is one of the best rental homes I have stayed in. The location and view were amazing, with direct beach access. The home itself was spacious and more than well equipped. All supplies needed were there and then some. The direct beach access was great, although we only were able to go down there once due to the storms. We hope to return during the summer to further enjoy the location!
