Photos and Description of the Lauderdale Lakes vacation cottage rental

Just finished remodeling in 2012, 2 bedroom cottage has everything you could want for a relaxing lake experience. New, fully equipped kitchen, 1 queen and 1 full sized bed. Flat screen TV,VCR and DVD player with movie selection, wireless internet access and a screened in porch for your morning coffee. There is an air conditioner which is rarely used as the lake breeze cools the cottage quite nicely in the evening. Sheets and linens are provided but you must provide your own beach towels. There are two rental cottages and and one cottage that we keep for our personal use. Each rental gets to use 1 side of the boat dock to tie a boat. The other dock serves to mark the swim area which has a sandy shallow bottom area and depth from 1 foot to about 5 feet at the swim platform. Each rental has a charcoal grille for personal use and we all share the picnic table and lawn chairs. We must limit this unit to 4 people and we do not allow pets or smoking. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday weekly or monthly. Lauderdale is one of the cleanest lakes in southern Wisconsin and has no public beaches which helps keep it peaceful and quiet. The lakes are popular for fishing, skiing and tubing, wakeboarding, and we love to just swim and play in the water. Our lakes are spring fed which helps keep the water level fairly constant. During our prime months of Mid May through the end of August I have a one week, (Saturday to Saturday), minimum rental period requirement. Please feel free to call with any questions.

About Daniel Grunwald

We currently live in St. Charles, IL. in the winter but hope to spend most of our summers at the lake since our retirement in March 2012.

Why Daniel Grunwald chose Lauderdale Lakes

When my daughter was 5 yrs old we used to spend a week at the hotel on Lauderdale every summer. When the hotel turned into condos we tried numerous other lakes in the area but they just did not compare. We worked hard and saved and bought our cottage property over 20 years ago and have been fixing it up since every summer. There are three small summer-only cottages on about 3/4 of an acre of land with 100 ft of lake frontage. These types of cottages are disappearing as time goes onand being replaced by much larger homes. They are clean and neat and life is just more relaxed when we are here. It is wonderful to leave the fast pace behind and play in the water with our granddaughters who are now 6 and 2 years old. Clean water, cool breezes, sailboat races on Sunday mornings and the golf course is just a short walk down the road. This is as close to paradise as there is in the midwest.

What makes this cottage unique

Martha and I are excited to share our property with other small families and we hope to hear from you. There are very few rentals on Lauderdale and we feel the value here is unmatched anywhere. Morning and evening coffee or coctails on the screened porch with a cool lake breeze will make you realize how good life can get.

N-7529 Country Club Dr. is the third building after turning on to Country Club Dr. from Sterlingworth. Across the street from the Lauderdale Marina main building. I am working to correct this on the map. It is hard to see the cottage on the satellite view as it is covered by trees.
