Photos and Description of the Vail vacation house rental
On 5 acres up in the hills looking over Tucson..just far enough away.

2 Mile Inn is the second vacation home for the Wilson Team. Located on the way to the Sonoita Vineyards it is the ultimate in quiet getaway and comfortably close to those 'life needs'. The home is 2 miles in on a dirt road off the Sonoita Hwy. In a style of Ranch setting the home is a modular construction. Decorated by Karen & Bob it is 2000 sq. ft. of unique and collectable furnishings. Karen & Bob have been making crafts and art for years and waiting for this moment to share it all. Each bedroom has a theme; Winery in the master, and split away on other side of home are two bedrooms adorning Americana and Nautical. The large front porch has a view like no other; Sonoran Desert by day, and entire Tucson valley lights by night.

The drive in is 10 mph most of the 2 miles and safe with rental car but you may want to ask for a SUV for added comfort.
About Craig Wilson

Our brother / brother in law Craig, has had a VRBO home for years and we were intrigued by this concept and we love the area. We are avid mountain bikers and this area is 'all that and them some'. We live near Sacramento and 2 Mile Inn is where we love coming to as often as we can..it's our pleasure to share it with you.

My girlfriend and I had a relaxing two night stay. The house was clean and spacious with spectacular views of the Sonoran desert. It feels secluded and private while still being just a short drive away from Tucson and the surrounding areas. Hiking on the slopes of Mt. Wrightson and a day trip to Saguaro National Park were great and well within reach. We had no problems getting onto the wi-fi at the house and the kitchen contained all the utensils we needed to cook multiple meals. Just a pleasant weekend all around. Thanks!

Hi Craig / Bob / Karen,
We had a great stay at your place. We come out every year for the Gem show and would like to come back. We didn't mind the 25 minute drive from the show each night because it was well worth being away from noise and congestion. The home is perfect and so well stocked, thanks for getting in the wi-fi. The views are fantastic. It was kind of funny seeing the snow on the cactus..sure was beautiful..I doubt it happens very often.

My wife Linda and I were the first to stay at the 2 mile Inn. Awesome. So close to Tucson, but feels like a world away. The spring desert surrounding astounded and inspired! We love mountain biking and the Arizona trail runs right by the property. We are definitely coming back to the 2 mile Inn.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
