This unit was originaly a studio and has been remodeled to work as a one bedroom. A large wall divider separates the bedroom area from the living area. The interior of the unit is over 500sf and ample for two. The lanai (where you will live!) is big and private with incredible ocean views. Interior and exterior are very comfortably appointed with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. There are steps from the parking lot to access the lower golf course level of this unit.

This unit is located in the Waikoloa Village Condominiums complex, the first built in Waikoloa Village. As such, it is in the best location with the best view, and generouse common areas. A small complex of just 38 units, it is arguably the best spot in the Village with unsurpassed views.
Affordability. Let's face it, if you are going to be out and about all day, why spend a bundle on a place to sleep? But, of course when you do come 'home' to relax, why not have a delightfully charming place to stay with a jaw dropping view?

Nice enough unit although small, So good for a shorter stay. Somewhat dated furniture and building but a great view and location. Had all we needed and in good shape when we arrived. Close to groceries and the Kohala resorts for shopping, golf, beaches and restaurants. we would stay again for a short stay.
This condo is a hidden gem among the VRBO options for this area of the big island. The condo is tucked into the ground floor of the unit, which results in the sense of a lush, garden oasis surrounded by green plants and tropical bird of paradise plants which the geckos love to hang out on, drinking the nectar. I got several fantastic close ups of those colorful creatures. And it's entertaining to watch them chase each other off of each other's turf.
The unit is compact but everything you need is there. Lovely retro-60's-style kitchen but very functional, fantastic queen bed that was equally firm, no sags, and is important to me because of back problems. Loved the big closet, and dresser, in-unit laundry. Loved all the track lighting and lighting options, could go from low level moody to full on blazing light! Loved having leisurely breakfasts and dinners on the lanai, watching either the morning slowly begin, or the sunset slip down into a blaze of orange and reds. Lovely location on the golf course, nary a noise from either tenants above or beside, or from golfers on the green.
Parking spot nice and close, swimming pool and tennis courts literally across the street, great grocery store as well as a sweet little outdoor cafe that also serves breakfast and lunch nearby (2 min drive, or 10 min walk). A cable channel guide would have been helpful to cut down on channel surfing, but perhaps I missed it in the info book provided?
Overall, an excellent value for a tasteful, well appointed unit. Short drives to beaches well worth the trade off of having peace and quiet from the tourist masses at beachside hotels. Also, a convenient base for exploring the island. Looking forward to booking this condo again on my next trip!
We stayed at this condo for 6 days near the end of March 2013. For the price and location this condo is a real deal. The description and pictures are accurate and the condo was clean when we arrived. If you like to golf the location is excellent as you literally just walk across the street to the club house. After 2:00 p.m. it is only $50.00 (including cart) and we could get in 18 holes. The grocery store is a few minutes away and is very good with an excellent selection of fish among other things. It is only a 10 minute drive to the beach and the condo comes with beach towels, mats, 2 beach chairs and a cooler. My only suggestion would be for there to be a light on outside the lanai for late arrivals as it is very dark and even with a cell phone to illuminate, difficult to read the numbers on the lock box. We also left at night and found it tricky to negotiate. The kitchen is very well equipped as we made all our meals there, and the only thing missing was a blender but that only affected our drink menu. Overall I would recommend this condo to others.
