This is a professionally furnished, first floor unit with everything you need!

The Allison Condominiums is ideally located in the heart of North Scottsdale, with easy access to the Loop 101 and endless varieties of shopping, dining and entertainment venues. The McDowell Mountains provide the scenic background for The Allison, with late afternoon purple hues, dramatic sunsets and quiet, colorful mornings.

Nearby are WestWorld (a nationally recognized, user-friendly equestrian center and special events facility), The Mayo Hospital, Kierland Shopping Center, CityNorth, Desert Ridge, Troon, Pinnacle Peak, DC Ranch Market Street and many more destinations.

About Melinda Reynard and Steven Hoffman

My husband and I wanted this condo to serve as a get away for our family visits to my mother who lives in Scottsdale, but, decided to stay with her while visiting and make our condo available for seasonal or permanent renters.

This is a terrific location with easy access to North Scottsdale. It is a very convenient first floor unit, and so convenient as it is very near for parking and just steps to the pool. The unit is the most popular type in this complex 'the Talbot' as it has two master suites and a great floor plan.

What makes this condo unique

All you will need is to fill the refrigerator. Everything else you will need to enjoy your stay is already at the condo. You can rent for a week, a month or a year. Please let us know how we can help you feel right at home.

Nice condo and location

The condo and complex were nice and pretty much as represented. In fact, they were great and fit our need. Subject to correction based on my comments below, I'd rent it again.

However, there were a few minor things I found annoying. For instance, I was recovering from surgery and not too mobile. Particularly the first couple of days. The remote control did not work for the on-off switch or volume control of the TV. You had to pull out one side of the TV, (carefully), reach behind the TV and manually turn it on. You had to do the same each time you changed channels and had to adjust the volume. (I know this was an existing problem because the owner left a note on the TV telling you how to turn on the TV and adjust the volume.) Rather than take the time to explain how to pull out the TV, I'd rather the owner spend $35 and by a universal remote.

The WiFi worked the first day and I couldn't get emails or go on the net the rest of my visit. It would have helped for us to be able to access the net for food and shopping. And, the ice maker did not work.

I know a lot of people would find these minor annoyances, but when you're laid up they can be an irritant. To me, attention to detail is indicative of the Owner's overall concern.

Great Spot for a Family

This was a great experience as it was our first time renting through VRBO. The owners were great to deal with. The Condo was in great condition and had all of the modern furnishing. It's proximity to the pool was excellent. Will definitely stay there again.

Winter Escape for Michiganders

What a beautifully appointed condo! I spent the entire month of February here with my fun-loving and energetic mother. We enjoyed the privacy that the two master bedrooms provided and enjoyed cooking meals together in the kitchen. Many days found us out for walks or just relaxing by the pool. We spent time with family and friends in the Greater Phoenix area and enjoyed The Phoenix Open, Arizona Fine Art Expo, Taliesin West, Spring Training at The Salt River Fields, golfing, shopping and dining out at some fabulous restaurants (just to name a few things)! It was a special vacation that I will always remember and cherish.

What a great spot to shop.....

We had a girls weekend away and went to some great restaurants and wow what shopping! Just love Kierland Commons and extremely close by. The place fit four women easily and we all had our privacy, too. LOVE the large master closets and BIG bathrooms. I didn't experience any problems at the condo, not even the TV, as one of us girls is quite tech savvy and figured put the buttons easily. We did have a strange rain and hail storm when there which was a unique experience for sunny Arizona. We still loved being there and felt very much at home. There are two very soft fleece blankets, one on each bed (that the owner apparently hand made ) which we fought over to snuggle up with and watch a movie. Highly recommend this first class condo, rain or shine! Also, we enjoyed going out to the brand new and very cool Talking Stick Casino, 10 minutes drive. There is a Whole Foods, Kohl's, and huge Safeway within a five minute drive from the place. Five star accommodation.

Great place to stay for Spring Training

We appreciated the central location close to freeways, parks, and shopping center. The condo is very comfortable and quiet, convenient to parking lot and pool. It is kept extremely clean. There is one TV, remote does not work to turn it on or volume, had to turn it on with buttons on side. That was my only very minor complaint. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and caught a baseball at the SFGiants vs Cubs game and had it signed by Sergio Romo and met Willie Mays at in and Charlie's Steak house that night. A great time was had by all.
