Our property is located 10 minutes from downhill skiing, cross-country skiing & snowshoeing at Mount Orford & 25 minute from Owl's Head and 45 minutes to Jay Peak, Vermont. There is ice skating available in Merry Park. Magog QC located 10 minutes from our chalet on the beautiful shores of Lake Memphremagog. Come & enjoy winter fun in a beautiful area of the Estrie Region of Quebec. There are many wonderful restaurants to enjoy in the region as well as indoor water slides at Jay Peak, Vermont.
Our waterfront property is situated on the shore of beautiful Lake Memphremagog in the Eastern Townships. This international waterway is 32 miles long with one end of the lake in Quebec and the other end of the lake in Vermont, USA.
The chalet faces East and has its own private beach and swimming dock. The location is very tranquil and a wonderful area to spend time with your family and friends.
This is one of the deepest freshwater lakes in North America. Fishing in Lake Memphremagog is excellent with many varieties of fish to catch – grey & brown trout, small mouth bass, steel head trout, perch & landlock salmon.
Come and enjoy a peaceful week on the shores of this beautiful lake.
Though it is a landlocked lake there are many places to visit. We go by boat to the McDonald's in Magog for breakfast and later to the Eastside Restaurant for dinner in Newport, Vt. We also boat to Georgeville for ice cream.
The chalet is 10 minutes from the Town of Magog, Quebec which has many bike, rollerblade trails and many activities to enjoy year round. Magog is also has a very active nightlife with a wide variety of cuisines and great night clubs.
It is 15 minutes to Mont Orford Park a beautiful place to visit in all seasons. The park has a golf course for the summer and a great ski hill for the winter.
South a 25 minutes drive is Owl’s Head Resort also a four seasons area. Owl's Head has a Graham Cooke designed golf course that includes all his classic challenges and is great for novice and expert golfers. Owl's Head winter activities include fantastic downhill skiing. Both areas also have facilities for snowboarding, cross-country skiing and show shoeing in the winter.
We also enjoy some of the most beautiful foliage in the fall season. There is nothing so tranquil as a boat ride in September and October as the leaves change.
