Photos and Description of the Cassopolis vacation cottage rental

Come see the Island and get some much needed rest and relaxation! We have a 2 Bedroom house with 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, and 1 Queen Air Mattress. A large Kitchen with all appliances, including dishwasher etc.. 1 bath with shower and also an automatic washer.

Diamond Lake is located in Southwestern Michigan, only 2 hours from Chicago. The lake is 1010 acres and has a 43 acre Island in the center of it. If you want to launch your boat there is a public boat launch. If you like to golf we have golf courses within a few minutes of the Island...bike riding etc.. The University of Notre Dame is only about 40 minutes away. Shipshewana is only about 1 hour away. There you can shop the large flea market and other shops in town. While there make sure and stop at Das Essenhaus in Middlebury, Indiana for some good Amish Food...yummy! Also check out their bakery for some of the best pies you have ever eaten! :O)

As you can see in the pictures the lake is gorgeous and super clean! You won't find a prettier lake around here. So come and see what you've been missing! Call now for availability!

About Judy ~

Both my husband and I were born in Tennesse. We are married now for 44 years. He is a Viet Nam veteran and a retired carpenter. We have two sons, one retired from the Navy and the other one from the Air Force. We also have 7 grand-daughter's. :D

The Cottage is located in Southwestern lower Michigan. Ten miles North of Indiana state line. Diamond Lake is the largest fresh water Lake in Southwestern Michigan. Activities on the Lake include fishing, boating, skiing, tubing, sailing, and swimming.

Amazing!!!!

What a wonderful find! Diamond Island is such a great little area, the lake is amazingly clear and pretty, and this cottage is just perfect. Extremely clean and well kept, right on the water, and everything you need to have a wonderfully relaxing time. We had such fun just hanging out on the deck, drinking some wine, paddling in the paddle boat, having bonfires in the firepit at night, and just all around relaxing! The neighbors were very friendly, and there are happy pooches everywhere,so,if you bring a pet, it is ideal. Bob and Judy were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and helpful, and available at the drop of a hat for any questions at all. We have rented quite a few vacation homes all over the US, but, overall, I think that this was my favorite, and can't wait to go back :) Thanks again Bob and Judy!

Amazing Labor Day Get Away

Sitting here in November looking back at all the pictures I took Labor Day weekend. You're lake home has become my happy place when my mind needs to escape. Our family had a wonderful time and we talk about our stay often! Lots of memories made on Diamond Island and hopefully many more to come! Thanks Judy!! And Bob too!!

It was a lovely get away. The place was nice and cozy and most of all relaxing. I found this vacation to be the most relaxing, and time seemed to actually go by at a slow and steady pace. Instead of the normal high speed that is usual. Judy and Bob are very nice people. I am glad that I found there place to rent. Thank you very much for memories I will cherish for many years to come.

We had a great time at the cottage. It was nice and very clean. The view of the lake from the family room is great. The owners Judy and Bob were very helpful and extremely accommodating. It was spacious enough for our family of five. We look forward to coming back to stay in the future.

Family Get Away

We planned a last minute get away and found this home on line. We had no idea what to expect. We were thrilled at the location. The house was so clean and cheerful and provided the perfect get away for a few days. Judy and Bob were wonderful and were extremely helpful with directions and accommodations. The lake is beautiful, with enough activity (boats, jet skies) to make it fun. Although there are no stores or shops, we had a great time playing board games and just relaxing. I recommend this place for anyone who wants an easy, stress free get away.
