Hakuna Matata is exactly what I experience the minute I step out of the car. No cell phone service, …no worries! That’s what makes the Vermont house so special, the stress of work and everyday life seem to evaporate the second you arrive. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, fresh clean air and the sounds of nature have made this a favorite get away for me and my family. The location provides the best of both worlds: Of the beaten path away from society it’s ideal for relaxing yet only minutes away from several ski resorts (Killington SkyShip lifts is 9.2 miles away) and lakes to be enjoyed during the day. We also enjoy walking around Historic Woodstock and stopping at the Long Trail Brewery for lunch and a few pints! We’ll cap the day off with a bon fire under the stars at night before falling asleep to the sound of the babbling brook located just a few feet away. Ah, I’m ready to go there now!
