Peter Cave Rental Cabin #2 on Rough River Lake

Literally just got home from this delightful cabin-although it's not my idea of a cabin. This was a comfortable, homey house. It provided the down time my husband and I needed. We spent 5 relaxing days here, with our dog, just unwinding and recouping. Regina and Kevin have done a wonderful job of outfitting the house. I never know what kind of cookware and other kitchen supplies I'll find when I rent a place, but this had everything I needed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best the whole time we were there but we had a couple of beautiful days. We rented a pontoon from M & D Marina (pictured in the background) and spent several hours on the lake. It was so nice to have a grill available-we made use of it 2 nights. We only used the firepit one night but it was so peaceful to sit around and listen to the night sounds. Our dog is part of the family and it was so nice to be able to bring him along. The yard is fenced and perfect for letting your 4 legged family members run around. If you're wanting a place that is in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, then this isn't the place for you. If you want quality family time in a beautiful, relaxing environment then I highly recommend it. We plan to return!
