Completely remodeled 1 BR, 1 BA Condo with a LOFT, located in Historical Georgetown, Colorado just off I-70. At an elevation of 8,520 feet nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Georgetown began as a Gold-Mining Camp in 1859 and later became known as “The Silver Queen of the Rockies. This condo is the perfect location at only 11 miles to Idaho Springs, 10 minutes to Loveland Ski Resort and only 55 minutes from downtown Denver.
This condo has 17 foot vaulted ceilings and is beautifully decorated with antiques, leather furniture, custom art, granite counters, new appliances and many other amenities to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The views from the deck are amazing. Relax in the living room or take the spiral stairs to the loft for some quiet time with a book. This is a perfect Mountain escape for two people. Located on the top floor with just under 900 square feet of living space you have plenty of room to stretch out while attaining a cozy and romantic consciousness provided with this quiet location.
If you are seeking a getaway but require the comforts of home this is the perfect place. We have WIFI, a Stereo with dock for iPod, and two TVs; one in the loft and a 32” HDTV in the Bedroom. There are also tons of books, DVD movies and a Playstation II for your enjoyment.
The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counters, European sink with single lever faucet, refrigerator, dishwasher, high-end glass top stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, stainless steel cookware, cutlery, baking pans, dishes, glassware, spices and a Britta water pitcher.
The living room has the wonderful feel of a mountain cabin with a leather sofa, comfy chairs, braided rug, indirect lighting, wood burning stove and a magnificent view of the mountain. Step out on the large deck and use the telescope or binoculars for a closer look at rock climbers, wandering deer or big horn sheep.
The bedroom is welcoming with a plush pillow top mattress and a custom headboard with low indirect lighting. The closet is equipped with a safe, iron, ironing board, steamer and plenty of space to hang your clothes while keeping your luggage off the floor. Although air conditioning is not common in the mountains, there are a few days every year during the Summer months when it can get a little warm. We have installed a low profile air conditioner in the bedroom for your sleeping comfort.
The bathroom has wrap around tile in the shower/tub and the walls are beautifully done in bead board wainscoting. A stone floor, vanity with vessel sink and a cove radiant heater for the winter months completes the experience. Yes we also provide a hairdryer.
Our condo is SMOKE FREE. Although we love pets, this is a NO PETs condo. The rental unit is for up to (2) adults ONLY with a two (2) night minimum stay. ALL PERSONS MUST BE 25 YEARS OR OLDER. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate children. This is a Self-Catering Rental. Housekeeping is not provided during your stay.
