Tilos - a South Dodecanese Gem

We've stayed on Tilos 4 times and at Kosmos Studios now 3 times and intend to return. No. 4 studio is very clean and a nice distance from a very quiet side road. It's a quiet location but Livadia beach is less than a 5 minute walk away and the studio is well located for a number of the tavernas set along the seafront. The main 'town' of Livadia is a 10-15 minute stroll away with more tavernas, cafes, supermarkets and a bank (with cashpoint!)
The studio has patio areas to the front and rear, mosquito mesh across the rear patio door and front window, and there is a communal garden area around the studios. Basic self-catering kitchen equipment is supplied if you do decide to eat-in. Helen and Paul live in the same block as the apartments if you need them.
More generally, Tilos is a great island for walkers and bird-watchers; there are a number of rare bird species on the island. For walkers, you do need some good walking shoes or sandals (Teva, Merrell or Keens are fine) - the terrain can be a bit unforgiving at times, and you will need to carry water. There are a good number of beaches with varying accessibility to the effect that you might find that you have your own private beach for an entire day for the want of an hour's walk.
